Firefight way too hard!!!!!!!

i agree they had grunt mech and 20 Kights i think thats the definition of b

It still beats always having to fight a bunch of wardens/hunters. The only time I’ve felt as if we’re gonna lose is with the ‘kill 24 ghosts’ and kill 3 grunt goblins

Round with 5-7 Bosses
3 Warden Eternals
Rest Other Bosses
Almost impossible

Also:
4 Mantises On Sanctum
Health regenerates if you don’t shoot it after 5 seconds
Also Mantis in the Garage

It was difficult when I first started playing wz ff as it kept lagging and wouldn’t allow me to change my weapons or use req system probably due to higher number of players playing it on release, but not too bad now, the grunt boss is a good addition bit over powered though lol

I just played my first match of Firefight, and I have no idea why people are saying that it’s too hard. It offers a nice challenge, while still being completely possible to beat. It’s very rewarding, unlike the beta.

That’s the point of it. It should be hard.

Should be hard but not impossible. Currently some rounds are on the side of impossibly.

try killing 2 warden eternals at req 3 pal. go ahead an spam all your “ultra OP req weapons” “use them or fail” as you would say. oh wait…? you don’t have them to use? sucks for you? mad about it? git gud!!1!!!111!!!1!111!!1!

So with all this negative feedback on the difficulty do you think 343 will tone it down a little?

On can only hope 343 tones it back some.
There’s a diffrence between hard and just plain cheap.
3 manti with instant regeneration shields = hard
1 mantis you must fight on foot surrounded by 20+knights =hard
Both of these Combined with only a little under 5 min to complete = flat out impossible

I think the firefight difficulty is very situational and is largely determined on the map. Some maps have certain objectives nearly impossible (3 Mantis’s on Sanctum) (Legendary Hunter and Knight pile up on Spire.)
However, when you’re playing alone a lot of the time you’re dependent upon a team effort and it seems like if there are a couple people simply falling behind the match is a lost cause.
On top of that sometimes there’s just overwhelming pile ups of AI that dish out massive damage in a race against the clock. This really makes for some slow gameplay if your aim is off or it’s your first match of the day.

I really think their are situational issues caused by spawn times, enemy pile ups, and human error that just simply pile up. With a little bit of mediation I think it can remain a good overall challenge without making some matches impossible.

Aparently, pumping in all your ammunition isn’t enough to get the mythic medal

Clearly too hard when you have 4 people in tanks and the other 4 with power weapons hammering the boss in the last round and taking 5 minutes to kill, that’s just one of the two that spawn, Firefight is too difficult, especially when facing prometheans. All you who say this is way too easy, well, congratulations you’re a high skill player with a fantastic team, the rest of us, the 99% shouldn’t have to suffer because nothing is hard enough for you.

The game is very difficult and though I’ve only played a few matches of it so far I’m excited and still open to change. For example, the massive amount of enemies not really matching the amount of people on the current team.

i feel they need to also move a few bosses around because there are alot of them that are way to close quarters like one match on the new map there was 3 or 5 mantises one of them were in side the building that looked like the garage was on the top floor making it so no one could get close nvm shoot at it and there is on on the snow base there there 3 warden eternal witch one being mythic were inside also being vary close quarters and i agree the re spawn timer should only be 10 seconds cause i tend to have the bad luck of spawning at the farthest part of the map away from the fight witch takes about the same time as it would past 10 seconds to get there and also a few battles where the phaetons are to strong like i have shot them with power weapons and had only chipped there health with others but idk thats just me

I understand what your getting at but some of the bosses are actually quite OP that scorpions, banshees, and other high level REQs are useless against them. Losing a level 6 vehicle only three seconds into a boss fight should not be normal in any case. I enjoy a challenge and was dismayed with how easy the beta was, but I think 343i has overshot the acceptable difficulty in this update.

They will since a drop in FF population due to people not playing the game for it’s difficulty will impact REQ pack sales.
