on round two on apex we had to kill two wardens surrounded by knights, soldiers, ands crawlers al numbering in the 10’s it’s too hard… make it like the old firefight, and don’t get me started on defending objectives!
for me it is too difficult and easy at the same time. I find when I’m cornered away from my team, I have no hope trying to fight 3-4 grunts and an elite, to get back to them. This isn’t right, we are Spartans, we should laugh in the face of a few grunts and their elite leader, not cower behind a crate cost a plasma pistol hit us once.
difficulty is the wrong word to be using, it is too hard but it’s needs to be challenging. Make the boss battles where the game is won or lost. Having enemies that have absurdly large heath pools and kill us in 4 shots is not what should be done to make it hard. Overwhelm us with enemies that die as they would on heroic campaign, you know “how halo is meant to be played” and challenge us with a big health pool boss that changes its tactics, causing you to think rather than “spray and pray”.
halo is a great game and firefight is fun, but it’s also frustrating having such difficult enemies to face alone, a lone Spartan should still be a covenant destroying badass and the way firefight is now, I feel more squishy than I do playing swat.

raid on apex 7 is hell it is the worst with the two wardens that spawn at round 3 90 percent of the time its dumb
So, after playing around 13 matches and only winning 2 of them I must say that it’s a bit too difficult. Don’t get me wrong, I like a good challenge, but the bosses feel like Destiny bullet sponges and all of the normal enemies also are able to kill you in a few shots. With good req usage and a bit of lucky rng it’s possible to beat, but I would like to see the normal enemies to do less damage or spawn in lesser numbers.
The Hold out rounds are impossible in the early rounds, HOW THE -Yoink- DO THEY EXPECT US TO FIGHT AGAINST KNIGHTS WITH AN AR AND A PISTOL

use your reqs during the game to win, don’t save your tank for the end!!!
It was tough for me but I don’t have any good REQs. That’s my fault for selling them all since I rarely play Warzone unless i have a boost. But in round 5 of firefight I think vehicles are a must.
It isn’t that hard. I won my first game of FF easily. I lost the second one only because the final bosses were in an area where our vehicles couldn’t fit. That’s it. It’s usually fairly easy (note, I am not saying that it is easy, but my brain isn’t working right now, so I can’t think of a term between easy and hard).
it’s hard, but making in easier isn´t the best solution. I think the reward of winning should be slightly higher so the players won’t be scared of usind their ONI scorpions.(making the respawn only 10 sec. is also good)

I was not born in the 80’s but am still technically a real gamer. I am tangible, visible, and all around real, and am a gamer. Now with my hyper technicallity aside, I consider myself a real gamer. I play video games, sometime competitively and sometimes casually, and only really get frustrated with difficulty when I am playing against cheaters.
Also, the 80’s are not a place. Learn your grammar.
the AI in halo 5 are stupid, thats why their damage is twice the damage a normal player can do, like “oh a soldier killed me with 5 supresser shots”

#Don’tdieoryou’llregretit. No seriously, you will. It can be pretty difficult, but often times people don’t call out enough reqs to win. And they will most likely need them or they won’t succeed.
Played 4 Won 4…whats all the fuss about?!
I went into WZFF expecting to be overrun and slaughtered by AI but it was no harder than playing the beta version. The only time it got a bit iffy was when 2 (or 3) Wardens spawned inside the building on SaD preventing vehicles to get at them (this boss spawn location should be removed to be honest).
If you play with a decent fireteam and all use REQs then its no big deal.
Especially the 4 Mythic Hunter Bosses. In my opinion, its WAY to hard to kill all 4. in just 5 minutes, and since we do have the longer death timer smh.

I think this was well worded; the sessions feel a little random when it comes to ‘difficulty.’ The very first match I played there was great teamwork and it felt very productive, even though it was tough. We had two ‘defense’ rounds and managed a win through good teamwork; and everyone had access to vehicles at the end. This is where I think Firefight stumbles a bit; sometimes you do not have access to REQs levels that make it possible to defeat Legendary+ bosses; i.e., in my second match, in round 2 my fireteam had to take out three legendary Banshees with nothing better than a Battle rife to work with. This is where I feel that Firefight needs some tuning. Maybe having blanket access to all REQ levels, or that shorter respawn time thing everyone’s bickering about.
I think it is the perfect difficulty
