Firefight way too hard!!!!!!!

I only played 1 match, and maybe I got carried by the other players, but if anything I felt as though it could have been harder.

But I honestly don’t know how you lose, is it if everyone is dead at the same time? Timer?

I personally think it would be best if it was almost impossible to beat, as in, maybe every 15 matches you win. That’s how all Gauntlets should be IMO. I remember in great fondness older games where I to this day have never finished a Gauntlet.

no no, you’ve got it wrong, if anything it’s too easy. We got right to the end first time, and I only had about 4 deaths.

I guess its just a matter of differing player skill levels.

> The actual war zone firefight Mode was a bit difficult at first, but after playing around 10-15 games, I’m starting to see it very differently
> for example, in my first few games, I struggled against knights in close quarters, I’m not saying I can wipe out a room of knights now, but two or three isn’t really a problem any more (Excluding bosses of course)
>
> Tips: In the case of knights, Focus One shoulder, then when its reeling back and opening its face plate, a precision shot will kill it, with some practice, it’ll become second nature.
>
> The round I’m finding the most difficulty with is “Defend the *insert location here*” ones, but in the end, that one comes down to teamwork.
> Tips :
>
> - If its a two story building, forget the first floor, its a deadzone, maintain control of the second and focus the entrances.
> - When in doubt, Hide. enemies seem to aggro to the loudest gun in the room, if your team are throwing bodies to the enemies and making no progress, try and get a quiet spot in the building, they shouldn’t bother you as long as they have someone to shoot.
> - If the objective has a health bar, things get a little bit tricky, maintain the high ground, making sure to pick your targets, there’s no point in trying to kill a sniper when there’s a knight or a sword elite breathing down your necks, that being said, don’t focus down CQC Enemies when your team are being harassed by a sniper.
> Boss rounds are most likely going to give you the most trouble
> Tips:
>
> - Occasionally, vehicles are hijack-able, but not always, If you’re not absolutely positive that you can take that ghost, don’t
> - FORGET ABOUT ASSASSINATING WARDEN, Having an entire team meleeing Mr. Eternal’s spine won’t help anyone, He’ll most likely have friends, you’re better off just opening up at a safe distance, than sacrificing yourself for a lost cause.
> - Hunters are a relatively easy boss to fight, just focus their back, if they’re aggro’d to you, and you’re confident in your kiting, taking potshots at their neck is also helpful.
> - Scorpions and wraiths are devastating, Those tools of destruction can melt most enemies in a few shots, but for armoured war machines they’re incredibly fragile, use them as artillery, Not front liners.
> - And possibly the most important, PLASMA PISTOLS are Incredibly helpful against most covenant bosses and heavies (excluding hunters), The heaviest class of elite’s shields will drop after 3 charged plasma shots, and one precision shot to the head will put them down, landing you an easy boss kill.

Great advice

I played a match of FF last night with a full party and we just chilled out. The only time we even had to try was when we forgot about a boss because we were too distracted. Killed the boss, continued messing around, beat the match. I don’t think anyone spawned a REQ vehicle higher than level 4. I wouldn’t say it is too hard at all.

I only got to play a little bit last night, and I didn’t win but it was a ton of fun! The challenge was nice, and I can’t wait to get into some more matches later.

How? I’ve won 3/5. The first loss was my first game with randoms and still getting the hang of things, and the second we just lost by seconds because of a stupid strategy. I’ve found it relatively easy overall, and don’t see myself losing games much at all as I learn all the bossess.

> Warzone FireFight is way to hard have played multiple matches and in last round we never even came close to killing 1 boss out of the 3/4

I won most my games. Coordinate, take cover, team shoot, and choose reqs wisely.

Relaxing is forbidden in halo anymore.

Difficult yes as it should be too difficult nah not if you and team mates using appropriate reqs and playing solo as I do its rare that’s I get team that’s willing to use reqs

Just use reqs

LIVE! LIVE! LIVE! My best advice I could give. My actual problem so far is the way certain bosses spawn. Mantis bosses spawning in the top floor of armory bases please.

Ok, yeah, I’m playing again today and this is frickin stupid. It is unbelievably hard. I’m not some noob whining about it, this is ridiculous. This is seriously the dumbest thing I’ve seen in Halo 5. I’m a level 92, Solo Legendary player, but this is just ridiculous. I’ve played like 7-8 games and we usually lose in like the second round. We won one game, but all the others are just stupid. I’m working with level 3 REQs to take down 6 Ghost Marauders in Temple Ghosts. It’s just not right, and the respawn timer of 20 seconds, what?
Granted, there are some easy games. I’ve had two, but most are very difficult. I think the final couple rounds should be more difficult, while like 2 and 3 are challenging but not as challenging as they usually are now.

I like the difficulty. Though with new players it makes it difficult to accomplish the objectives.

Having now played it, I stand by my previous assertion, with a major caveat. You’re mistaken, OP. Firefight is not hard. It’s an incompetent combination of cheap and tedious, with god-awful bosses with such pointless amounts of HP that they take an age to down while all 8 players are spamming idiotic REQ vehicles. Even standard, fodder enemies are bullet sponges now. They added shields to grunts (to, you know, completely defeat the point of grunts in the sandbox). The beta may have been a trivial joke, but this garbage isn’t even enjoyable. It’s not a compelling challenge. It’s just emptying ridiculous amounts of ammo into nearly impervious, dumb as bricks AIs and hoping its actually doing damage and your team mates are point the same direction so it will actually die this decade. What utter -Yoink-. If 343’s goal was to make every weapon and vehicle feel useless, they have succeeded with flying colors.

I can never pass the Hunter Particulars, and it isn’t cause the hunters, it’s cause the damn Knights and Banshees that melt you away.

I’ve been playing all day today and yesterday the randomness is alot to do with it. We sometimes got super duper easy rounds but past round 3 it goes straight to hell and becomes almost impossible. We had one round where it was the last round and there were 2 mythic warden eternals as well as alot of ultra banshees and wraiths. We knew we lost before the time rad out we were getting 3 shotted by the banshees and it was a waste of time and req items.

its too hard when you dont have a group!!!

there are too hard parts in firefight :frowning:

It wouldn’t be so hard if team members would stop killing bosses with BR and start taking out the big guns!

The more we play Firefight, people will figure out strategies, and how to work with their teammates to win the game. If this mode was easier, then it would become dull much quicker. Besides, the challenge encourages team play, although I still think there should be a few more co-op features. (Bring back revive to avoid the long respawn times, but you could only have a short amount of time to do so (less than in campaign)).
