All I want 343 to do is remove the lame death timer penalty, it destroys any enjoyment of the gamemode.
Raider Squad Spartan Company are looking for new members, everyone welcome.

Use 5 tanks next time
My team killed Warden with two tanks and the rest of us using an ensemble of other req weapons. I was in an ONI and the other guy in a classic scorp. We took down all three wardens. I would agree with others and just say that you need to communicate better and play smarter. Not GIT GUD, just change the way you play is all. Some maps are also harder than others. I find Darkstar so far has presented the most challenge so far. On that one I was unable to beat the warden because we took too long to kill the Legendary Knights.
It’s good that it is a bit hard.
The respawn timer could be reduced a bit though.
I think its great they should leave it how it is. if everyone keeps complaining its too hard they will change it, within minutes people will moan its too easy. it should be a challenge considering the number of Reqs you get.
My cents:
I do not think FF Warzone is hard. I think that in certain LEVELS it can be redick because the TEAM is not focus on the bosses. IE the new Warzone map with the 3 Mantis Bosses IS REDICK at having it happen at stage 2 of the FF. Especially when there is no communication into it. Almost like a Raid because you have to communicate or you will not win.
I AGREE that the re-spawn timer needs to be a solid 10 SECONDS period. I understand being re-spawned while getting your load-out together, can be a problem, but in the later rounds when you only have 2:30 mins to kill the final Boss and you spawn your tank opposite side or spawn period on the opposite side of the map. It takes about 30 SECONDS to get there to help the fight plus your 20 second or higher re-spawn time. Which in turn really burns the clock fast and most likely you will be failing.
Also another key point is when you get the OBJ prevent the base capture, WHY the EFF is the enemy allowed to spawn onto the base point but your spartan buddies spawn 3K away from the OBJ. Kinda stupid. I think another idea is to use the Battlefield format and be able to spawn on a buddy who is alive, so you can get in the action ASAP to help and not waste a MIN or 2 MINs just to get back into the game. Or help with the OBJ prevent section.
I really REALLY enjoy the mode and how it is not easy. But if I have to wait 20 Seconds and walk/drive 30 seconds in a time OBJ game set, thats redick. I think the level of being hard is good, just gotta tweak somethings to help out playing with randoms without comms.

> Warzone FireFight is way to hard have played multiple matches and in last round we never even came close to killing 1 boss out of the 3/4
I ran with randoms and we did okay, lost a few yes. Some of these are way too hard, but to say it is hard on some of them. Round 3 with 2 Wardens and 15 knights? Who decided that was a good idea. I don’t care what reqs you have, you are gonna fail.
Going to throw some tips out for the new players, I’ve had a little experience and analysed some of the rounds.
Most of this is common sense, but you never know who this information might be useful too.
Disclaimer Sometimes these will NOT work, depending on AI pathfinding, team mates or bull -Yoink- spawns.
Honestly, I found the beta to be incredibly easy, that being said.
The actual war zone firefight Mode was a bit difficult at first, but after playing around 10-15 games, I’m starting to see it very differently
for example, in my first few games, I struggled against knights in close quarters, I’m not saying I can wipe out a room of knights now, but two or three isn’t really a problem any more (Excluding bosses of course)
Tips: In the case of knights, Focus One shoulder, then when its reeling back and opening its face plate, a precision shot will kill it, with some practice, it’ll become second nature.
The round I’m finding the most difficulty with is “Defend the *insert location here*” ones, but in the end, that one comes down to teamwork.
Tips :
-
If its a two story building, forget the first floor, its a deadzone, maintain control of the second and focus the entrances. - When in doubt, Hide. enemies seem to aggro to the loudest gun in the room, if your team are throwing bodies to the enemies and making no progress, try and get a quiet spot in the building, they shouldn’t bother you as long as they have someone to shoot. - If the objective has a health bar, things get a little bit tricky, maintain the high ground, making sure to pick your targets, there’s no point in trying to kill a sniper when there’s a knight or a sword elite breathing down your necks, that being said, don’t focus down CQC Enemies when your team are being harassed by a sniper.Boss rounds are most likely going to give you the most trouble
Tips: -
Occasionally, vehicles are hijack-able, but not always, If you’re not absolutely positive that you can take that ghost, don’t - FORGET ABOUT ASSASSINATING WARDEN, Having an entire team meleeing Mr. Eternal’s spine won’t help anyone, He’ll most likely have friends, you’re better off just opening up at a safe distance, than sacrificing yourself for a lost cause. - Hunters are a relatively easy boss to fight, just focus their back, if they’re aggro’d to you, and you’re confident in your kiting, taking potshots at their neck is also helpful. - Scorpions and wraiths are devastating, Those tools of destruction can melt most enemies in a few shots, but for armoured war machines they’re incredibly fragile, use them as artillery, Not front liners. - And possibly the most important, PLASMA PISTOLS are Incredibly helpful against most covenant bosses and heavies (excluding hunters), The heaviest class of elite’s shields will drop after 3 charged plasma shots, and one precision shot to the head will put them down, landing you an easy boss kill.
Yeah. I have been working my -Yoink- off in ff and I haven’t won more than than once. Also, respawn timer sucks. Haven’t gotten past req level six.
If it’s easy again then it won’t be fun you just have to play the game

It’s actually pretty easy. Especially if you have a coordinated party. I think the only ones that I lost, were with a bunch of randoms, and only because no one would use party chat. The one exception to this, is when 4 legendary knights spawn in a home base. I’ve lost both of those matches. By the time we dealt with the 30 or so regular knights outside the home base, we didn’t have enough time to kill the bosses.

Sorry if I suck without a DMR, geez.

Yeah, I can’t handle a coordinated party. None of my friends play Halo 5.

Exactly. The fact that you lose 1 minute out of a 5 minute round for each death is absurd. Between the 30 second timer and spawning 7,416 miles away, you waste most of the match walking back to the fight. I also agree with the defend the garage thing, either both enemy and friendlies need to be able to spawn in the base, or no one gets to. It plays more like capture the garage except you already own it and the Promethean are defending it.
I think the difficulty is perfect - I wouldn’t even mind seeing more enemies added to create more chaos. We played 4 games last night and won all of them with plenty time to spare. We were only a fireteam of 3. We would spawn good reqs and melt one boss at a time then move to the next and repeat.
If if you’re too cheap to spawn reqs and are waiting for the other players to do so while you just shoot your BRs at the boss, then you’re not doing anybody a favor and this playlist isn’t for you.
needs to be harder than the beta but, easier than now

It doesn’t even need to be honestly. It’s just like any other game mode in Halo 5 when you play solo. The issue is no one goes into party chat.
I played a game of it last night, lost in round 5.
I think the general difficulty is perfect. I love fighting competent AI and it kept me engaged.
I think the round 5 bosses were unreasonably spongy. I mean, we killed one warden and had 3 tanks and 2 banshees and others having power weapons. Do I want it ‘easier’, no. But with a good group, and as a good player, I think I should win over half my games (just like I do in Halo MM historically in arena / BTB as a random queuer that is above average).
So keep the difficulty (AI) the same, it’s great. But make the requirements (amount of bosses in round 5, for example) more balanced to have an overall 55-60% win rate. Right now from service records I’m guessing it’s around 15-20%, which simply isn’t fun (regardless of difficulty).
2 people did quit which hurt.
I think the difficulty of wzff is just fine. Not to hard, but not to easy. I just don’t like it when you get defend the garage at the very first round of the game lol.
