Firefight way too hard!!!!!!!

The only thing that I would view as “hard” is the triple warden bros, but I think that is even a fair fight when your team is working together.

If i wasn’t matched with -Yoinks!- it would be winnable, but when they put all retards on your team it’s impossible to put the whole team on your back.

It isn’t hard, as long as you have a team who knows what they’re doing and doesn’t spend their REQ’s wastefully.

Agreed man. I fel 343 is hell bent on making eveerything ultra competative. First ruining pvp by letting “mlg” folks take over the game and now even the ove content. The radar is still insanely short 18 meters. Yes im just a casual player with responsibilities and would just like to relax and kill some a.i aliens. Out of 20 plus games we only completed 2. I play alone. This is so dissaponting.

Out of 20 plus friends i couldnt even convince 3 to join me for longer than 2 matches. 343 what the hell are you doing.

It’s not too hard - the respawn times are just way too long.

You’re not supposed to be able to win FF easily. Sorry, this happy go lucky Reach Firefight. If you lose don’t -Yoink- about it, just try to do better next time. I’d rather lose to admirable AI than a team of Warzone Spartans. This is as chill as it will get, and I’ve won multiple games Solo. Stop asking for Wins to be given to you on a Hand held Golden platter.

The game type needs some chill.

It is way too hard, respawns take too long, all enemies are overpowered. If it doesn’t change I won’t be playing it long. It is obviously geared towards forcing you to spend REQs at a ridiculous rate. Oh yeah, enemies constantly spawn on your location too! Total BS move.

Get a team or do what bravo said in the stream and turn your mic on and communicate with your team if you’re running solo

Okay so I had a couple of matches today. Most of them alone or with just one teammate. I had some (around6) victories but even some very terrible fails. I think, that some “sets” are good balanced but some of them are really to hard. For example: killing the wardens in round 3 on apex is not balanced. The problem is, that you don´t have anything to beat this guys, especially if there is a huge load of knights. Nearly the same story with the wardens on urban, but in this case, there are enough vehicles and recs, but this guys have to much “security” around them.
But some other sets are good balanced. I had some pretty good rounds at sanctum, where we had to kill grunts, then elites, soldiers in hogs, grunt goblin and tower-defense.
That are just examples. I think 343 has to work at the balance of the sets. And yes everytime we had to use some REQs, but not too much.

This. I learned this by my 3rd game and have won most of them ever since.

What made reach Firefight great was that it was fun & challenging at the same time. This is the redundant even the beta was better.

I think Firefight is great! The biggest problem with the Beta was that it was WAY to easy! I could play alone and never call in a REQ and only use BR and Pistol and our team would win every round every time. Now I’ve played roughly 10 matches and I’ve completed 1! I mostly play alone… and to win we HAD to call in Powerful REQ’s! The only game I won, everyone had Mics and we mostly communicated.

People… this is like a Raid… it is co-operative and presents a challenge! If everyone communicates it is not that difficult to beat, the problem is that no one communicates. For example, I was playing on Stormbreak and we had to kill 8 Legendary Hunters, all at different corners of the map. Now had our team been communicating we could have sent 4 to deal with 1 set and 4 to deal with another… once those were dead, same teams take down the other 2 sets. 2 guys on one side… 2 on the other baiting the hunters while the others drop shots on them! This is not what happened, because no one coordinated this because no one was talking!

Put your mics on, communicate, make friends and Warzone Firefight will be much more successful for you! I personally like the added challenge… my biggest complaint with the Beta was that it was way to easy… so thanks for fixing that 343!

I’m okay with difficulty, but I do think the balance could use reworking. It seems like whether you win or lose a round is dependent on the round itself, not your teammates. Some are just far, far more difficult than others.
This might be more of a personal thing, but I’d like there to be more numerous but weaker enemies. As is, melee combat is useless. This is particularly disappointing because 5 has some of the best melee combat in the series.

Also, it’s “too hard,” not “to hard.”

Why exactly does it need to be completely trivial (e.g. the Firefight beta) in order to be “relaxing?” This aversion to anything requiring the least bit of effort or skill has made console FPSs a complete joke. You already have access to a ridiculous arsenal of overpowered joke weapons in this iteration of Firefight. What more do you want? For the AI to just face the other way and sit extra still so you can actually hit something with a sniper rifle?

hammering on bullet sponges and waiting 30 seconds to respawn isn’t exacctly entertaining though…it’s not like there’s too much to figure out other than spam tanks…
