Firefight is what is should be. Actually winning should be an accomplishment, not the norm.

Tank, another tank, and another, maybe one more. “Oh I think we need more tanks.” Tanks! “Hey you have a tank right?” Tank tank tank. “Tank beats everything.”
Firefight is extremely difficult… Only when your squad doesn’t work together. Whenever I played and I had a team that worked together, we destroyed.

Then your fire can’t have been focused. We were one banshee, me in an ONI Scorpion and another player in a second tank. The rest on foot with standard issue loadouts. A Spartan Laser and possibly a rocket launcher. And we took down TWO mythic wardens alongside 4 high-tier knights (possibly mythic or the rank below). At the same time we were fending off a whole bunch of other enemies. The laser and tanks were the only ones actually focusing fire in our game with 100% certainty and we did fine.

Exactly, its the team effort. Why do so many people want an easy firefight. I like losing sometimes. In reach we would win every round and it became so repetitive. I feel no one wants to be challenged. It’s like they want firefight to be campaign on easy mode. Also 343 brought in more incentives and more punishment for dying by the respawn counter, I think it’s good. I will however agree on the fact we respawn so far away from the action, which makes it quite difficult with the 30s respawn timer in round 5

In all honesty it is too hard, I got 40 kills & 25 assist in the first round and we still lost because my team is horrible

So it’s just like normal warzone when you’re paired with randoms. No surprise here.

LOL apparently. I’ts really sad how bad people are at this game. I hadn’t played in 4 months+ or so and I’m beating most players on my team.
Well, I agree to an extent. I’m going to make a setting right? This happened to me and my friends earlier.
Round One is pretty tame and we’re tasked with killing two hunters. Round Two, meh. It was alright. Oh, but Round Three? Oh, -Yoink- dem Spartans. -Yoink- 'em. Four Mantis spawn and were still at around level three to five REQS. To put the icing on the -Yoink- cake we’re given like two minutes or something.
Needless to say we got stomped. Though we did get one of the Mantis(es?), and I wasted a Wraith on it. More -Yoink- down the line; I spawn in a Ghost Ultra a couple of games later and am literally ONE shotted by a regular Wraith. I had taken no damage prior, my shields were full.
Though to conclude, I do like the challenge of it, and if you get lots of kills and boss takedowns you are rewarded, handsomely. One time I got EIGHT Silver REQ packs which is amazing! I hope it’s not a bug and it stays.

I love the way it is, it should be hard and when you win you it feels that much better…
I have no problems with the boss waves, yes it is hard. But it has to, otherwise it’ll be to easy and will you win every match…
You gotta create strategy’s
Not bad, my brother and i played 10 rounds or so after work we usually scored top 2 and won over half the matches. Sure you need to spend reqs, but they give alot of reqs in return, especially if you only use a couple tanks, or wraiths. Only big issue I saw was the long as hell rescan on found 5, but even then not horrible. But dude that grunt mech is -Yoinking!- hilarious as hell lol. And no we aren’t try hards, or pros, I’m rank 48, and he is rank 20, and we were top 2 most games, even with being in a party by ourselves. So to the people saying it’s too hard or complaining, it’s a game, have fun you’ll do better, and have more fun. And remember if you can bring a big -Yoink- you stick to the party and beat the enemies -Yoink-, do so. You’ll get the reqs back and more after the game is over.
