I have a small suggestion that came to me through a Game Informer article. If any of you are familiar with Borderlands, it is a type of RPG-FPS mix. The important part is that, in the original, your character would randomly say a line or two after killing an enemy or pulling out a weapon (much like Reach’s firefight voices). Gearbox plans Borderlands 2 to have a better system, in which your character calls out a line or says something, and another character responds to it. I think this would be great to see in the next FireFight version, as it would greatly enhance the reason to buy a voice. Currently, the user of the voice is the only one able to hear it, unless the other player is in extremely close proximity. So you are the only one who gets to enjoy your firefight character is you, and the voice may get tiresome, as the lines soon get repetitive. Once again, the voices reacting and responding will add to this, as you will hear new lines for all the different voices of all the other people in your match. Say, for example, one person has Gunnery Sergeant Avery Johnson and another has Jorge. The second player gets a headshot, and then he does his little “haha, headshot!”, to which Johnson says “Dead before he even hit the ground!” Obviously this is a bit choppy, as these are both current lines already used in Halo: Reach. I think the voices are a great way to add to FF, and would love to see an even better version in the next Halo!
I would like this,I play Firefight mostly with friends
This is a must have. Very brilliant. This would add much more to the whole FireFight experience.
