Just a theory on the general layout of the Warzone Firefight rounds. For what we know so far, Firefight will have 5 rounds with scaling difficulty. I think this means the following:
Round 1: Easy warm up. Kicking out the squatters. REQ levels 1-2
Round 2: First wave of reinforcements. Mostly cannon fodder and a few upper-class infantry. REQ levels 3-5
Round 3: Mid-boss with moderate infantry. Maybe vehicular combat. REQ levels 5-7
Round 4: Heavy infantry. Enemy vehicles common. REQ levels 7-8
Round 5: Boss round. Lots of infantry backing up a single uber unit in a well fortified area. REQ approaching max.
I was thinking rounds were “sets” like in ODST.
Where each round has ten waves, that sort of thing.
It looks like halo’s version of “the prison of elders by destiny” only better.

343 said (somewhere) that it would progress throughout the map similar to traditional Warzone. Basically, clear an area, move to the next zone, clear all zones to win.
5 rounds
1st Home Base
2nd 1st Armory
3rd Center Stage
4th 2nd Armory
5th Enemy Base

Well, that’s kind of disappointing to me. Hopefully the game lasts awhile.
