Firefight problems

I’m just posting in hopes of this getting fixed. There’s been multiple occasions where I’ve been put in games and then not enough enemies spawn to finish the round. I’m kinda tired of using a legendary RP booster and not being able to finish round one because not enough grunts spawn on the map.

There’s always enough enemies on the map. You just have to find them.

Is this a case where your team isn’t killing them fast enough for the last groups to spawn in before the clock runs out?

I’ve never seen this issue. Perhaps the next time it happens start recording with the xbox dvr?

This has happened before where they just don’t spawn in and you can’t pass the round because there are no more enemies to kill. Just because it hasn’t happened to you doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened

It’s a case of no more enemies spawning in. Like your at 50/100 and no more spawn in

I’ve experienced not finding enemies and having the time run out because the map was far too big to get everywhere to check where they were at.

Definitely had this happen numerous times! I’m not sure if it’s a glitch or just useless teammates :confused:

Hm, I always just kind of assumed when this happens that they spawned somewhere but we just couldn’t find them. I never considered the possibility they honestly didn’t spawn.

I don’t like the time limit. I would like the classic firefight to make a return! Where you just survived for as long as possible

See, what happens is that Grunts/Soldiers/etc. spawn in groups, and as you kill off groups, more groups spawn in. Every now and then, a couple of enemies manage to wander into an area of the map that players don’t expect them to be in. Thanks to those couple of enemies being essentially hidden, herein lies OP’s and others’ issue. With those enemies still alive, the final group of the round never spawns in.

So like I said, there’s always enough enemies on the map. You just have to find them.

This isn’t always the case since you can’t go off the map as some of the AI’s occasionally do.

Only AI’s that go off the map occasionally are Banshees/Phaetons, and you always know where they are. Grunts/Soldiers/kill-this-enemy-x-times always spawn on the map where they can be killed, which OP is talking about. You just have to find them.

The times it has happened is when the enemy is about to spawn and grenades explode 1 or 2 AI’s usually under the map. I’m only aware of this happening on snowbound, apex and temple. I’m to sleepy to find the vids right now.

Oh, a glitch. I’ve never seen that happen myself. I’d expect it to be quite rare, though. Ironically, I’ve been glitch-spawned under the map in Firefight. Weirdest thing ever.
