Firefight or SpartanOps? Which is better?

Are you going to give SpartanOps a warm welcome, or grief over the loss of firefight? Let me know!

none … Spartan-Ops

It’s spartan ops not spec-ops.

We haven’t even played it so we can’t judge it.

Spartan Ops, even though I’ve seen next to nothing other than what was at E3.

I’d have to say spartan ops because after a few games of firefight it kinda got boring. But spartan ops will have new maps, and new areas each week, it will be new and will actually have its own story to get interested in and fall in love with.

I’m ready to welcome Spartan-Ops. Out with firefight.

Spartan Ops- we get new maps every week, plus the addition of a separate campaign. Should be good.

I’ll give Spartan Ops a chance before i judge it although it’s a nice concept and can’t wait to see it in action.

But i’m still going to miss Firefight.

First off its called spartan ops not spec ops

second I never really cared about firefight all that much, I mean it was fun but it was way too laggy for me to handle.

third as long as I can beat the spartan ops missions by myself I’ll most likely want to play them, coop usually isn’t as fun for me as playing it alone for some reason.

fourth the way spartan ops is set up probably means that it’ll be a success, not only will it keep players interested it also doesn’t take all that long to complete so its going to be a win-win in my opinion.

fifth they’re probably going to have firefight like missions in spartan ops so its not like they’re completely removing firefight.

Ya sorry guys I screwed up spartan ops lol  but I think spartan ops personally. I never really played firefight in ODST or reach and I think the weekly episodic thing will add suspense and that it will be just another fun way to kick back and play halo with some buddies

can’t forget that you’ll have to buy these missions with spartan points which means it’ll be all the more awesome when you get to play it.

going off the info we have gotten so far: Spartan-Ops for sure!

I wish we didn’t have to choose. I’m sure Spartan ops will be great, but I’m going to miss firefight a lot.

Ya man! I can already kind of tell, that halo 4 is going to be much more rewarding then reach, or any other halo game. All the new customization options and the addition of spartan ops is what makes me think this. All the other halos were just a little more challenging then rewarding. But you can tell rewards far outweigh challenge even though it will still be difficult online. I just hope the direction they are taking with this is forthe better and not the worse

Spartan Ops is basically going to be an in-progress campaign, so… I don’t know. Firefight gave us something a bit different to munch on. It’ll be annoyingly tough to say goodbye to that… And to have to get my Reach disc out to scratch the Firefight itch.

Bottom line, I’m just by default not in favor of scrapping entire game modes. Spartan Ops should have been an addition, not a trade-off.

I’d have to go with Spartan Ops, to me, it’s fire fight 4.0, tho I will miss the original fire fight, but that’s why I still have Halo ODST. :stuck_out_tongue:

Spartan Ops has the potential to blow Firefight out of the water. Whether or not that potential will be recognized is a different story.

Yeah… some people my just look at the name and go “Oh it’s Halo’s version of Spec Ops”, and not even try it.

You don’t have to buy them with Spartan points. They are included with the price of the game.

I’ve never liked Firefight much anway. It started in ODST with the terrible netcode, then in Reach they didn’t fix it, but instead they decided to introduce the atrocity that is Firefight Arcade.
