Yah, I know that Halo 5 has matchmaking, but I’m tired of playing with randoms. Like when I get a warthog no one wants to jump on the gun. Is there an LFG site to look for team members who WANT to work as a team?
yeah.
Google it.

Wow, much help you are.

I’m helping you by telling you to Google it.
trust me, google “Halo LFG” and it’s the first link.

Yeah, H5 Firefight matchmaking is the worst. Its the prime example of why Bungie’s Destiny doesn’t offer matchmaking for their raids. Firefight matchmaking was awesome on Reach because it was just killing enemies. 343 adding objectives into it and & these kids just can’t handle it & usually are oblivious to it. Doing objectives with randies that don’t communicate & coordinate attacks & just ignore the objective completely just highlights how horrible Firefight is to play in H5.
Then add broken gameplay aspects like Prometheans spawning & multiplying out of control on Defense missions, Mythic/Legendary bosses in confined areas where if you are close enough to see them they instantly kill you, Enemies instantly destroying a vehicle when its requisitioned, Prometheans not having a cool down on their teleportation ability, just make this horrendous to play with randoms.
Playing this game without friends or skilled players is just setting yourself up to rage over stupid failures

lol, I know right? I Googled [LFG] + Firefight and this post is where Google sent me too. Much help Indeed
I play FF with randoms 9/10 times…most of my fireteam doesn’t like FF its boring to them lol so the last 10 games ive played of FF ive won 6/10 with randoms…the 2 I lost in a row were JIP games and really with 2:30 left in round 3…and no bosses killed not much you can do lol…but yea randoms are fine maybe you don’t have the communication or skills to be effective in FF??
Just get in the warthog/ghost and run everyone over. It’s literally the best way to rack up kills in FF.

Yeah, thats what I usually end up doing and as you said, it is quite effective. However the problem with that is when the Mythic/Legendary bosses are in a confined area where vehicles can’t get to them vehicles are useless in those situations.
One example is a firefight match I did earlier in which on Round 5 we defeated 3/4 enemy Mantis with a minute left. The last one was spawned inside a base on the 2nd floor. Despite vehicles aimed at each entrance unless the enemy Mantis happened to walk into the path we barely did any damage & with power weapons primary weapons doing barely any damage it was pointless. It didn’t help that I thought the enemy Mantis was on the opposite side of the base only to go over to it in the slow moving Wraith & realize that it was in the base. I swear if its not the people screwing me its the game playing outside of its own rules

Communication & Skill can only take a group so far if there are only 1 or 2 people using them. If people aren’t listening, aren’t communicating or just are doing whatever the f*ck they want to do there is literally nothing anyone can do to make those people play effectively. Some people don’t talk & some people have everyone muted so communication in those instances is pointless especially when people just don’t realize what they are suppose to be doing. I’ve been in games where I’ve been at the top of the leaderboards & still lost. If teammates aren’t working as a team then a group is more like to fail than win. Just like with opening req packs, getting a good team through matchmaking is basically RNG/luck. Sometimes good things can come from it & props to you for being able to pull a Master Chief & carry your team to victory so many times. However when I’m playing with only 1 or 2 people using power weapons & vehicles to take out bosses on rounds 3-5, its basically Game Over the time has run out.
It’s not that people are bad, it’s just that this game was free to play and 50% off when Firefight was released, so there are tons of newbs on this
There is a section on the Waypoint where you can recruit Spartans for your cause or you can search for a Spartan Company.
Also, I don’t even want to mention that when the WZ Firefight was released, Halo 5 was free to play for a week.
Starting from now on you should be able to find more people who actually know what is going on and how to play and not just plain rookies who have no idea what’s going on on the battlefield.
Join with a Spartan Company or find yourself a community to be apart of!
Trust me I’ve searched for lfgs online, all were dead. And there where no trending topics for firefight lfg in the forum.
