I see many people claiming that the game mode is far too easy, but this is simply not true. The balance between load out weapon damage and enemy health is actually very well balanced. I don’t think the problem is that it is too easy, but that it just simply doesn’t last long enough. 5 waves go by very quickly, so there needs to be more waves where enemies get progressively harder to give a longer lasting challenge. The use of req items makes the game mode seem easier, but the game mode shouldn’t be designed around req items, it should be designed around load out weapons. If we make load out weapons useless, then many teammates will feel as though they aren’t making a meaningful contribution because they don’t have/use req items. I can be moderately self sustained in battle without the need to drop 5 whiplashes, or any reqs for that matter. And that is how this game mode should be balanced upon. My suggestion is that 343I add unique weapon drops from enemies so that everyone can get a good chance at using items they don’t have or don’t use. This will make the risk higher for killing enemies, but the reward is a full ammo unique weapon. I think this could go a long way in terms of prioritization during battles.
I think this is a very good idea. I played a good few matches today, and I enjoyed it, but I remember the awesome Halo Reach long matches. Playing for about and hour or so on a map was fun, for a multiplayer experience that is too long, I think 30-40 minutes for a math would be good. Also Letting us have a single player firefight would be cool too.
Agreed. There need to be at least 6 rounds, maybe even 8.
And having bosses drop power weapons is a perfect idea. Give everyone a reason to get in there and hurt them.

Reach had firefight huh?
-.-
It is too short but it is an objective based version of Firefight and it`s got the Warzone slapped on it so yeah haha
Nope, its way too easy. For most people who have at least played the game a bit, its incredibly easy - if a couple of people bring out reqs its just not even a challenge, Its like target practice, boring target practice.
Its still in beta guys…

This is a great idea, it would actually make firefight a bit more interesting.
I think the length and difficulty are optimal for what this gametype it. Unlike what some of you want, this isn’t in any way firefight as we know from reach and ODST. This is an arcady PVE warzone experience and for what it is I really enjoy it. If you made the games much longer it would lose a lot of its appeal to people as many (myself included) don’t want to sit in a game for much more than 20 mins at a time.
