It is too difficult to play firefight. I have been playing for the last 3 hours and several hours last night without a single completion. Why do we have to use reqs to win? Is it possible to complete a match with just your standard loadout?
Also, I played a game earlier today and got to round 5 where we had to defeat multiple warden eternals. We were on the last warden and he healed himself! If he didnt heal then we would have won. Thats not fair. Why not give us 10 minutes on round 5?
Its a get cheap killed by random spawning out of nowhere enemies mode plus is there only 1 map last 5 games i played all where on skirmish at darkstar all with the same objective to defend the armory 1st round when it prompted the same map for the sixt time!! I just stopped and closed the game it was boring and losing every game because every round was the same 1st round defend the armory second round kill the mantis soldiers and there we failed everytime because everybody whas stuck on req level 2 or 3 so yeah -Yoink- this garbage --rant over.
Honestly I like it quite a bit though I can completely see why you, and other folks, don’t enjoy it. The only part I consider cheap are those damnable defend objectives. They were by far the worst part of WZFF during the beta and they still are super frustrating. Spawn timers on that mode have to be tweaked (IMO) so the increase in wave difficulty is more gradual.
That truly sucks. I played off and on all day yesterday and had more wins than losses. Yeah, couple of the losses really sucked - 4 Banshee Raiders while we’re all at L3 (kept flying high, we didn’t drop even ONE of them) and then the Round 1 Defend the Armory on Darkstar where nobody (else) tried to get inside or on top. Again, sucky luck on games, but it was one of my better days in Firefight.

I also like the mode but its not fun to get the same map 6 times in a row(skirmish at darkstar) with exactly the same objectives every round and losing every game is not cool i think darkstar and urban are horrible maps for firefight imo
I don’t find it all that enjoyable. Halo 5’s AI relies too much on being ‘cheap’ rather than being smart. Why is a Grunt Goblin already firing at the spot my banshee is about to spawn into? Why does it have even the slightest idea that I’m spawning in a Banshee? Let alone already be firing before I’m even fully spawned in. Instead of making the Prometheans smart. 343 just makes them bullet sponges with auto-locking weapons that do ridiculous amounts of damage. It doesn’t feel like a survival mode either. I don’t like how everything has to involve shoving REQ’s down my throat. Not to mention most are useless in WFF because of how much damage enemies take.
