How am I a supposed to get top score with a handicap…
Lower req than others from the start, and 2 or 3 rounds without kills or bosses…
Eh, I just look it as free XP and RP. No big deal. It does happen a lot, but not enough to be a big deal in my opinion.

Do you need to get top score? Yeah, sure, it gives more XP/RP. But is it really that important?

There is no reward to getting the most stats in Warzone Firefight, despite the FFA scoring system it uses, as in XP/RP points. As long as everyone had been participating to the objective, and have been in the game as long as you have, they will receive as much XP/RP as you, as far as I know.
It’s easy to get the top score from round 2 and sometimes from round 3. Just make sure to kill all the bosses and try to get as many multi-kills as you can since they stack up. Also go for bigger enemies whenever possible because they give out a bigger score.
