Firefight if you die it should drop your REQ level

Firefight is pretty fun but its so easy. You can rush without worrying about dying because you respawn at the same REQ level you were at.
IDK if a death should start you back from REQ level one or if it should drop you one REQ level each death.

Or they add limited lives. I would prefer that than your solution honestly.

I vote no to limited lives because players would just quit as soon as they were out.

Make it similar to previous firefight iterations. If your team survives the round everyone respawns again, but still no lives left. The playlist also features jip so I don’t see quitters being to much of an issue.

That would lead to potentially 30 hours just to finish one game and if you quit you lose all your RP/EXP so NO.

As for the OP. That would mean during those times where the phantom 4 shots me. I die, respawn between a group of enemies, die, and just lost my br because I am back at level 1.

No one said anything about removing the timer, at max a match would take 25 minutes to complete. It would add a moderate amount of difficulty while still being quick.

IDK i usually die one or twice in Firefight. Im just saying the way it is now ( i know its a beta) its really easy.

A countdown timer is nothing close to traditional firefight, as for a 25 min countdown. What’s stopping the guys and me from getting to a combat free zone and not killing, timer goes down and boom free RP/exp?

My suggestion: more rounds of increasing difficulty 8+, more RP/exp rewards at the end. But that’s me.

I am confused what you are arguing about?

There already exists a 5 minute timer for every round. If you try to afk, I’m pretty sure the game will kick/ban you for inactivity.

Adding limited lives to WZFF would add a bit more difficulty.

I would prefer limited lives over losing Req levels, but I agree Firefight is too easy as it is and needs a harsher penalty for dying. Aside from losing whatever weapon you have at the time, there’s no consequence.

In some situations it’s easy, but I’ve had plenty of times where I’ve spawned and been instantly over run by a number of soldiers and crawlers or a jackel sniper. Limited lives would cause a lot more losses, which 343 doesn’t want, they would prefer it if the matches were difficult enough to push to 5mins per round but easy enough to get to the next round, as that way people use the most REQs and make them the most money. 343 wouldn’t cut the amount of money they can make for a more challenging gametype, at most they’d add more difficult rounds after 5 that will 100% need the use of mythic legendary REQs.

Losing a req level wouldn’t be bad, might make the game a little more challenging, only problem is the garage defense. That’s a nightmare if you go into it at req level 9.

Losing a req level slows down your momentum, and would just lead to more deaths and a game lost sooner. Not fun, and not good for 343 as people aren’t using there high level reqs and so aren’t buying gold packs to replace them.

It`s more of an objective based firefight then a survival one which I really dislike at the moment… having lives rather then dropping your REQ level is better.

I doubt they`ll change this but decreasing your REQ level each death should be something added to higher difficulty settings if they ever add them after beta.

You have to use REQ cards to win especially to kill the warden.

Exactly, making not a hard, but an impossible experience. It’s warzone, and it’s challenging enough. Reqs are fine how they are in this mode imo.
