Firefight, if loadout weapons were infinate?

What if loadout weapons had infinate ammo?
(Requires reload)
Like dmr and smgs.

Or at least the default AR and magnum.

Or maybe loadouts refill every round automatically… Or after boss kills…

No, as much as I dislike running back and forth for ammo, I don’t like that idea, too easy. Maybe let us carry double ammo, that would be helpful. There is the armour mod for increased ammo capacity anyway.

And having our weapons auto refill after each round would be nice as well.

Exactly that’s why I proposed alternatives.

Like auto refill every round.

Or after a boss kill.

As a bonus after achieving sets of kills.
(Every 15 kills without death etc… )

Yeah, its a major challenge. I do agree with at least ammo refresh after every round if not infinite loadout weapon ammo.

Is it running back to get ammo really that much of an inconvenience for you?

How can you use your ammo wisely on enemies that can eat a whole clip from your assault rifle and walk it off?

between the extra ammo Load out variants and the extra ammo perk , it really isn’t needed. After you unlock both , of course.

Even though the enemies may be tough enough to come to this idea, instead of using loadout weapons, you really should be using vehicles to the best of your ability, unless if you can’t because of how much this game mode is so far unbalanced. I always run with a pair of battle rifles (one with increased ammo and another) as I do not have the Ultra Rare = Patrol Case armor mod unlocked to further increase the ammunition.

Having infinite ammo on these weapons would get more people (in opinion) use them instead of power weapons or vehicles, simply by judging that infinite weapons are far more useful than the weapons that are severely limited but are more powerful.

Add more req stations, or add an auto refresh after each round. And spawning in with full ammo would be very helpful.

What I found was that the covenant is easily taken down by basic weapons, but prometheans require heavy equipment. Even if they allow us to have bottomless clip on our basic loadout weapons, its not enough to take them down efficiently. Power weapons and vehicles are definitely required, which makes the game fun, but we have to spend so much. And the best weapons, are about level 4 and higher. I definitely like the use The Answer, as it is the optimal weapon to take out prometheans.
