I have an idea for firefight in either reach or halo 4 where you go into firefight and fight to control certain areas, kinda a mix between campaign and invasion. Much harder though. After taking over certain areas, you will get more weapons and vehicles just like invasion. I’d find this a lot of fun to do if you had a lot of customisation and for people who don’t have XBL, it would give the game an extra while before they get bored.
What do you think of the idea?
I do like the idea of getting new weapons over a period of time. You could start off with a basic rifle and pistol at the beginning and then unlock a Sniper/Shotgun/Rocket Launcher as time progresses.

Then again, I’d take any updates to Firefight. It has a lot of potential and I really hope 343 sees that.
I have many ideas for firefight such as firefight forge. You can create entire buildings and large areas, forge where and which enemies spawn and you can also forge what weapons spawn and when (like on a certain time limit or certain round). Also the following enemies needed to be added to firefight: Drones, Flood (all species), scarabs (Imagine it, scarab rounds), and forerunner sentinels. And in firefight you should also have the option to play as an elite fighting all of the following: marines, ODSTs, spartans, heretic covenant, flood, forerunner drones, etc.
Yah firefight can really thrive if it got seperate features than that of campaign. For the most part firefight is campaign with unlimited ammo and staying in one spot as you fight enemies for 3 sets. If it had an experience similar to horde from Gears than i think firefight can really explode into something really great. The firefight need bigger maps and maps that dont have just one main camping spot. iF you noticed, on the bigger maps like beachhead your mostly staying back at where you spawn. A feature where you move to certain objectives could really be something that add alot of color to firefight. Good OP

Not possible. The A.I would need to be able to know how to react with everything that you can make. Thats just something that would take way too many mann hours. I prefer that we get firefight maps made for us
