Firefight + Forge

Love that Flood are now fightable in ODST Firefight! That was something i asked for ages ago and now it’s here!

Now i dunno what happened to the feedback mega threads but i think it would be cool to have spawnable NPCs in Firefight, they could be placed with spawners or with a dropship marker then a dropship would come and drop them off like in Firefight.

You could add waypoints for them to follow or points of interests for them to fight towards.
Would be extra interesting if you could specify teams too, having part of the team be AI and the other part humans.
Or maybe even just have the NPCs work like bots to fill out a game.

Imagine having a bunch of Marines riding elephants and fighting flood and Covenant on Sandtrap!

ForgeFight would be a cool idea tho. Honestly 343 should just let us spawn AI in Forge in Reach, H2A, and 4.

Would be nice to be able to delete all the soft and kill barriers in all maps in Forge!

Honestly the fact the El Dewrito had that for it’s Forge, but the MCC team still hasn’t implemented it yet, is kind of annoying. Forge without boundaries is how Forge SHOULD be played.

The one issue I could see with this is the outside of skyboxes can be a bit crazy lookin and flashy, possibly epilepsy inducing, though I doubt that’s the issue, someone could probably intentionally forge a map that hurts your eyes.

NA not at all bud! Here a video of the Valhalla map I made with El Dewrito Forge. It was a fun map and the Soft and Kill Barriers were either moved or deleted!

I’m fully aware of what ElDewrito forge is capable of, I played it too, but the outsides of Skyboxes still look f**ked.

Skyboxes schmyboxes. The potential for so many new types of maps would be limitless without barriers. Halo 3 you could fight above the pit in the catwalks.

I was just bringing up that this could be considered a potential issue that’d need to be fixed first.

What would be nice is to have a “COPY” command. It was a pain in the rear in Reach without a copy command!
