been a while since I have played, decided to get in a bit of firefight for soemthing new. First game joined fine but after it ended I noticed that where it used to say intermission it had immediately changed to “Deploying” After about a minute the screen faded to black and I was returned to the “Warzone” menu and at the top of the screen it now said " 2/4 contacting dedicated server" It remained like this for several minutes during which I couldnt join any game then it booted me out with a red screen error but I dont remember what it said because it allowed me to rejoin the playlist and enter a second game. That game ended around 10-15 minutes ago now and Im still stuck at the “2/4 contacting dedicated server” glitched warzone menu - screenshot of the glitched “warzone” menu" Gamer DVR - Xbox clips, Twitch clips and streams, Xbox screenshots, Xbox videos, Xbox DVR and more on Gamer DVR!
does this mean im essentially blocked from playing untill it fixes itself now?
edit - I exited the game and tried again, I played the first game no worries and managed to enter a second game straight after but immediately upon finishing that game the screen instantly said “Deploying” and I was subsequently locked out of everything in the game. When its doing this glitch I cannot even play single player, I am essentially banned from the game.
ended up giving up i was locked from playing the entire game after a single firefight match so i went to bed.
And today, 18 hours later its still doing it.
I finish a match the post game score screen comes up, I close it and where it should say intermission it instead instantly says “Deploying”, it sits like that for a minute then fades black and loads the warzone main menu and says “2/4 contacting dedicated server” and I become locked out of playing the game in any capacity henceforth.

When this happens, select Solo Campaign, and then back out once you are in a lobby. You’ll be able to start matchmaking again. I get it, it’s yet another stupid and annoying bug with H5 that they didn’t bother fixing and we as players have to fix. Hopefully this works for you though.

I have managed to find a workaround that so far seems to work, it involves doing a complete shutdown of my console each time. I can no longer use quick start up mode as doing so triggers the glitchy connect failure again
