Firefight- Defend the base- no enemies

Hello Spartans

I recently played a Firefight match in which ohg team lhad to defend the base. After fighting off the initial wave of promeths, we awaited the next wave. Except they didn’t come. 3 minutes of waiting is all we had to do and the round was won.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Not defend the base but I had this happen with a defend the forerunner structure, it was immediately after defending the other forerunner structure on Battle of Noctus. Had to wait the full 5 minutes.

Normally, I would complain about bugs like this… but the less CTRL+V Promethean spam to deal with, the better.

Last night…about 14 hours ago…defend forerunner core…round 4 I believe…nada…not a beep…loved it. Intel says Chief and blue team are likely responsible…rogue again and in the area…

I’ll take an easy FF round anytime lol. Wish it’d happen more on Urban…

I had the opposite happen - it was a wave to destroy like 15 banshees or something, but only 14 spawned. Caused a few issues and rage quits from people who had used high level REQs.
