I am just curious if anyone plays Firefight with the higher frame right. My TV drops the resolution to 1440. I did not notice much of a difference, but I only tried a couple of games. It did seem smoother at times, but I am not sure it helped me get more kills.
Thoughts? Will the higher frame rate help me get more kills/points or is it a waste for this game.
I have not played on anything more than 60, but I doubt having 120 fps will lead to more kills. I’m sure it may look smoother, but the hitboxes are large enough to where 60 is plenty good enough.
I’m almost certain H5 runs at a locked 60fps (with dynamic resolution) and nothing higher. If your TV allows for 120fps, it’s likely an upper limit and does not mean the game itself runs at that framerate.
Regardless, higher framerates might help you in certain situations, but Firefight in general is not one of those.
