Firefight. 3 parts of hell.

Well now we kinda have 3 types of enemies.

The covenant

The New Enemy (most likely including sentinels, etc)

The Flood (Trust me, Come on, You know they will be)

So this mean 343 could easily make a 3 Parts of Hell mode for Halo 4.

3 Parts of Hell

3 Rounds. 10 lives per round (10 max)

First round starts off with Covenant. It would pretty much work like this

>Grunts
>Grunts Jackals
>Jackals and Sniper Jackals
>Brutes and Jackals
>Brutes/Elites(if hostile) Hunters. Randoms

Second round would be The New enemy. And yes they come before The Flood. Since we don’t know what exactly they are I will go by Sentinels and such.

>Just Sentinels
>Sentinels and light new enemies
>Enforcers and mid new enemies
>Bigger Machines and enemies
>Biggest of enemies

Third round gets special. Flood fog, creepy sounds. The map will become freaky and scary.

>First round will be only infection forms. However this round is short.
>Second round is only those big baloon guys. In most maps they “rain down” on you.
>Third round is infected humans with no weapons
>Third is Elites and Humans with light weapons
>Then you get all flood, new, old, poppers, boomers, big, small, and Pure Forms.

Bonus Round

The Bonus Round is insane. A Four Way battle of power. Flood vs Covenant vs New Enemy vs Players.

It’s 1 minute long (on MM) and spawns random enemies who will fight eachother, but they will still be hunting you and your team.

Would be awesome, but only if we also get customs to configure all these types of enemies.

Well indeed. You could change the order or such in customs.

As long as we get Weapon drops and no ammo crates. We need the scarcity and desperation back in FF.

That bonus wave would be orgasmic if it can actually handle a battle of that scale. Nice idea.

Sounds like a really nice twist on the regular Firefight experience OP, great thinking :slight_smile:
Since the AI and models from campaign could be used, I think it could be possible.

Chaos in firefight… I love it.

We’ve already had to fight sentinels in every Halo game except reach(well not sure about wars). The new enemy will not be forerunner tech because we’ve already been fighting their tech for the last 10 years.

So with this in mind, I say you change the name to 4 Parts of Hell :slight_smile: I’m liking your general idea though.

We fought them in Wars, and they were 100 times worse… they could stall vehicles with their lasers and stun almost all units when they became bigger sentinels (can’t remember what they were called).

I don’t really have an intelligent comment about this, it just sounds like a dope idea.

ive always hated the Reach firefight. it was really boring. ODSTs was awesome, i could play it all day, but this, oh man. If this was in the game, just try and stop me from playing it

I like your idea but I think it would be cool to play your favorite Halo character in a new firefight game mode. Any thoughts?

I’d dig this. I enjoy Firefight. It’s a fun way to pass the time while I wait for my gaming group buds to get online.

I REALLY hope there is more than one alien race/sentinels to fight against in Firefight. Even if it’s not more than one in a game, just so there is more than one to choose from in the voting process.

For example:

Flood on Swampland
Covenant on Matrix
Forerunners/Sentinels on Power Core

What would be even cooler would be if you could vote for which enemy you want to go against AND vote for which map you want to fight them on.

Mind you the names of the maps above are fictional. I made them up just to use as an example.
