Oh for sure I enjoyed the story and the characters too. Honestly, even a lot of the sidequests were great. The quest The Hunt was probably the best work of horror I’ve experienced in a very long time. No jump scares, but what happened still disturbs me to this day, and that’s a testament to the storytelling.
I think a big part of the problem was the bugs were in people’s face. The teeposing, and other noticeable bugs gave off a bad image. A lot of the rest I think is the game not living up to the hype they built. Which is coincidentally why I think Infinite is getting a lot of bad press. Not the only reason of course, but when you build people’s expectations uo and you don’t deliver on those expectations, then people will be more upset than if you’d delivered the same product with no promises attached.
I say that when I finished Jedi:Fallen Order in 2 weeks
Yeah, for me cyber punk got my attention for 74 hours and that’s when I dropped it, don’t know if that ran into february or not.
For me my expectations for cyberpunk didn’t really go further than ‘this is a FPS RPG hybrid made by the people that made witcher 3’, so when I was turning around and NPCs were changing models, the T posing stuff- I pretty much ignored it all in the face of the story that was unfolding-
By the end of it I felt the same as I did if I watched a good movie or read a good book, that’s why I always tell people to give it a shot XD
My expectations for halo infinite were a huge customization system and a multiplayer that had a ton of game modes and maps that you’d be able to level up and unlock cooler stuff- Based upon my prior knowledge of the previous halos, as infinite was gonna be my first one I didn’t play at a neighbors house on the couch.
So I guess expectations vary and can impact the enjoyability of a game.
Idk I just want more maps and stuff to unlock by playing, and I know season 2 is gonna solve some of that with earnable creds and who knows what will be in that BP, but that’s in May.
We haven’t even got BTB to work yet…
And then Dying Light 2 and Elden Ring next month, I have a hard time finding reasons to keep playing the same 5 4v4 maps. Unfortunately, I’ll add, cause I really wanted to have a new FPS that clicked with me, with longevity.
Guess it just gets chalked down to the waiting game.
Oooooohhhhhhhhh Elden Ring. Yeah, Infinite is fun, but there’s no denying that I’m more hyped for Elden Ring right now.
This is Infinite’s biggest threat right now, 2022 has a lot of good games coming
You didn’t play Valorant, did you? I believe Angry Joe put it best with that game when they sold blue on weapons for like 40$, and Purple for around $70.
I agree, but because the prices don’t fall in line with itself.
Comparing Halo Infinite’s individual item offering to it’s bundles is such a joke. Individual items right now are more expensive than bundles were BEFORE the price drop. It’s stupid as hell.
