Alright, well I wasn’t sure where to put this exactly, because I just made an account here, go Halo, duh. Anyways, I saw the Fire Fight map they made for the release of Combat Evolved Anniversary, which I love a lot, but I was hoping they would catch this on their forum. I don’t know if I’m the only one who’s thought of this, but I’ll be happy to just say it.
Well, since this is Halo, based from the Anniversary, I think the map should be unique, something that just says, “This is Halo, you think Reach was easy? Well suffer the Ring’s Wrath.” Now on to the actual thought. I’ve said this to a few friends and they agree it’d be an epic idea. 343 Industries should create a map, or use a map based on Two Betrayals, Keyes, or even the Maw. At first, you would fight a wave of Covenant, push them back, kill them all, right? And then in the next round, doors would open or whatever would make a ominous, scary entrance, and Flood would arrive in the Fire Fight. They wouldn’t just attack you, but Infection Forms would, well, do their job. Infect Elites and maybe Brutes (Since Fire Fight will be Reach compatible, I say Brutes) and have them fight you as well.
So basically you’d be in a scary level, fight Covenant, possibly have friendly A.I. And then after the Covenant are destroyed, Flood come along and attack you, and infect other dead corpses if possible. Whatever weapon the Elites/Brutes drop, they use them. I’m sure 343 has thought of this, but if they catch this? Please, think about it. Tons of people would be swarming to play a Fire Fight Map with Flood in it, I promise. (Just not on the Library, dear god we’d be crushed!)
