Fire Fight maps and objectives

will we be getting any more maps or objectives for fire fight?
i have personally felt that many of the objectives are too standard, that maybe a page from Spartan ops or Invasion could be used.
actually having a capture the flag ish try of objective to defend, and being able to manually return the thing instead of a timer or touch and re-spawn to base.

I also think that some of the maps could use some kind of fortification as well, like turrets already being in the map in specific areas or something.

Thoughts for the players that play FF ?

I think the next map we are getting in the upcoming update is a fire fight map. But no I don’t want to see any ctf style stuff in firefight. firefight needs to be about killing enemies as it always has been. I doubt they will ever add any weapons to the maps since you are supposed to use your reqs. a cool objective style round for firefight could be kill a VIP target that is being escorted in a convoy or something like that, and if you don’t get them in the convoy they get to a fortified position.

Thats actually a pretty neat idea, really the only realistic way I see going about doing objectives besides the defend whatever. It would be pretty neat as well to have one map that was just a base with turrets and what not as OP suggested and all you do is defend the base from more and more waves of increasing difficulty. But that would pretty much change the entire warzone firefight game style. Maybe another game type similiar to firefight that is only wave after wave of enemies?

perhaps objective based Fire Fight?
I remember the old Bomb matches in H2 and H3, maybe an objective where you blow X to reach …
personally I dont understand why Cov or Pro would want a human garage … are they short on wrenches or something?
I like an objective that at least makes some kind of sense of “WHY” we are doing X.

Hell they could even use some of the older Halo maps from 1,2,3, ODST, Reach and 4 to some degree, with some modifications of course.

as for CTF based games, it was just used as an example to remind anyone of the reach Invasion games we did have.
and for having weapons on the map, or vehicles. what kind of base is defenseless? there should be some kind of turrets or something on a military base that is in a potential hot zone, same with vehicles, just make sure they are standard issue or turrets that cant be removed like in ODST
