Yes! Flame weapons were my favourite things of all time in Halo 3, and they should definitely make a return.
Also, we have a thread asking for more snow maps. If we take fire weapons and snow maps and put them together, we get water! Lots of water! And you know what lots of water is? Flood! Therefore the Flood will appear on snow maps in Halo 4!
(I was kidding in that second part, before anybody goes and tries to call me dumb).
Burn, burn, baby, burn! Yes is my answer. I loved flamethrower in Halo 3. Even, if The Flood wouldn’t play part in Halo 4, it’s needed, if not fitted in multiplayer, atleast in Campaign & Customs.
Of course they should. I think Fire greandes and Flamethrowers should both return in Halo 4. I don’t think either of them should have been removed within the first place within Halo: Reach. Hopefully, we can also get some new weapons and vehicles which use fire to incinerate opponents within Halo 4.
Community: What do you plan to do?
343: Light it.
Community: Then we are agreed. A tactical fire grenade will completely eradicate the local infestation. We will personally tell you how to oversee the final preparations.

Actually, if you shoot a propane tank in Reach once than its bursting fire can actually “incinerate” people. I wonder why this wasn’t used in forge maps…
I actually wonder why some sort of fire based weapon wasn’t included in Reach, because we see with OS mechanics that the person path they walk is scorched with fire, proving they had fire effects untethered from blown up vehicles, but…no fire weapons still.
Yes, fire grenades and flame throwers would be great. If something is more satisfying than sticking someone, it’s flaming them.
