I was Gold 3 during a match on Empire when my FiOS modem crapped out. Modem was rebooted and I signed back on, rejoined my fireteam and started going into a match (I think it was Pegasus), when my FiOS modem crapped out again. So, I stayed off the Xbox since then until just now, and I notice I’m down to Gold 1. Did I lose 2 ranks through no fault of my own, and Xbox thinks I quit both games on purpose? Am I going to get banhammered later? How do I resolve this issue? Can any moderator help? Thanks.

FiOS? I’ve never heard of that modem brand before. I have a Netgear modem and have had little to no problems whatsoever.

FiOS is Verizon’s fiberoptic network. I’ve got 58 Mbps Download, 59 Mbps Upload speeds. We had Optimum and it was a lot slower.

Haha…I quit when I’m shooting marshmallows for bullets and can’t kill anyone with an entire magazine of ammo. But last night, I didn’t quit at all. My internet provider crashed twice. I just want to know if there’s anything that could be done to restore my Gold 3 rank.
