Halo 4 was notorious for weapons despawning WAAAAY too quickly for many people’s tastes. I want Halo 5 to give us more time to pick up a weapon. I don’t remember what the despawn times were like in the Beta, so if someone can refresh me that would be great.
Another thing I would love for Halo to implement would be making it an option to allow weapons to respawn a finite amount of times, allowing for forgers to make it that the Rocket Launcher only spawned 3 times before it disappeared from round entirely, while still allowing the BR to spawn as many times as necessary. This would apply a reason as to why to hold down places that provide power weapons, while changing of the flow of combat within the match, depending upon how long the game took, making it less about weapon control, and more about map control with semi finite weaponry.*
I wonder if this isn’t already in Forge… as I haven’t dabbled too much with weaponry options in forge other than clip size, respawn rate, and delay… But if it isn’t in the game, it would be nice to be given the option to make this happen.
*: Semi-Finite applying to ability to pick up some weapons, while others may vanish from the map’s respawns after a period of time/number of pick ups.
