I just played the campaign, and it was so terrific! The different segments, maps, fun weapons, and armor abilities. I love the campaign. No hub area like ODST, but big levels like Combat Evolved. Although there was one part that was questionable, and that is
Kat’s death. It seemed like it was rushed. Also the shot looked like it came out of a sniper rifle rather than a beam or Needle. It’s said that she was supposed to die in another place in a different way, but because of time constraints that wasn’t possible.

Honestly, I liked Kat’s death. It visually shows us that not every Spartan goes out in a blaze of glory and can just as easily die like any other marine.
Reach was definitely one of my favorite campaigns with plenty to do through out. I don’t know which difficulty you did it on but I’d recommend looking for the daily and weekly campaign challenges. They add an extra layer of difficulty and for people like me who have played it a hundred times over keeps the game play interesting.
Did you see and/or know about the Master Chief Easter Egg in the final cut scene?

No? I was hoping to see him in a cutscene during the last mission, but didn’t spot him.

In the final cutscene, hold the right thumbstick to the right and the camera will pan over to Master Chief in his cyrotube. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it!
If you prefer, here is the Easter Egg video from the Rooster Teeth crew.

Just did part of the mission again, and this time I saw Master Chief. So awesome.

Right?!?! I thought it was really cool to see Master Chief in the game as an Easter Egg.
I recently completed it on legendary
Reach has my favourite campaign. I love it!
