Finished Halo 5 > Halo 6 Story... Read 343i :)

I have played nearly all the Halo games apart from Halo Wars and the mobile variant type like Spartan Assault etc. Love the Halo franchise. Halo 5 campaign was great. Loved the story regarding eternal warden/Cortana and Fireteam Osiris. All the Halo games that I have played, I have completed it on solo campaign (Legendary Mode). Love the challenge!

Halo 6 Story…

  • Unknown Communication
Beginning of the story, Master Chief keeps getting interference in his comms which is unknown, however Chief thinks it’s Cortana. - Return of the Flood
Powerful and more lethal. Mini boss fight. - Contact with Cortana
Master Chief communicates with Cortana. Cortana is out of control due to… - Cortana Plan
Is to eliminate the flood with the help of other AI. The other AI’s have no idea that Cortana has become Rampant. - Cortana Rampant
Cortana becomes rampant by the gravemind. Master Chief has to rescue her once again. - Didact Returns
In Halo 4 Didact got killed but it doesn’t show what happened afterwards. Didact needs to make a return! Didact plan is to eliminate the flood and humanity. - Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris
They fight against the flood and try to reach Didact. Blue Team help take on flood while Fireteam Osiris fight there way to plant explosive in a certain area? They struggle to get to Didact due to the flood causing problems and being in the way. During the fight (boss battle against the flood leader?) huge explosion occurs as the detonation goes off earlier rather than what they had planned but instead causing Master Chief to get separated from the rest of the team (evacuation). Didact and flood (many of them) escape and the flood continues to spread at a rapid rate. - Communication Lost
As Master Chief is unreachable the rest of the team focus on second plan on how to take care of flood and put an end to Didact. Flood being mostly powerful than before and Didact using the flood to block rest of the Spartans from stopping his master plan (to eliminate both flood and humanity). - Unknown Communication Back
The interference Master Chief kept getting makes numerous contact again but Master Chief thinks it’s Cortana after the last communication from Cortana (after becoming rampant). However it’s not (keep on reading ;p). Master Chief has to rescue (find the signal location) or maybe find the missing links to complete signal source. - Enter Mendicant Bias!
Master Chief either rescues or finds the missing links and revealed is Mendicant Bias! Mendicant Bias explains his story regarding what he did before. Master Chief explains about Didact/Flood. Yet again Mendicant Bias betrays his forerunner as he doesn’t agree with Didact plan to eliminate humanity. Mendicant Bias can say to Chief something like; did you not read my messages in the terminals for you? Nice little comment to add in there. - Visual Boost
Mendicant Bias gives Master Chief visual boosts, example; maybe some sort of new tricks on the HUD display. You know something like Agent Locke visual HUD display in the Halo 5 but more advanced. - The Plan
Mendicant Bias has a plan on how to eliminate the flood. Activating some counter defence? Also the ability to help take down Didact or maybe some form of weakness Didact has. - Regroup > Take the Trash Out
Master Chief and Mendicant Bias find a way back to rest of the team/UNSC and help defeat the flood and Didact. Boss fight against flood leader as Spartan Locke, boss fight against Didact as Master Chief. - Sacrifice
When Master Chief takes out Didact, he sacrifices himself in the process. Ending the big battle against the flood and Didact.Through out the Halo series we got use to Cortana in game voice. It would be so cool having a male AI in game voice aka Mendicant Bias, his name just sounds awesome. Imagine a deep/serious voice tone, nice combo to go with Master Chief voice tone. Regarding the ending leave it at a cliff hanger for Halo 7 as the cinematic story will show Master Chief life sacrificed for saving humanity against the flood/Didact. Cortana is rescued but left behind with UNSC Infinity or maybe team Osiris? Also throughout the story during the cinematic story it should show Master Chief armor getting worse as the story progresses (read further on regarding armor).
This will be a great way still to continue with playable story missions as Spartan Locke and Master Chief.

Halo 7 Story…

  • A Saga Begins
New saga, threat, weapons and villains. - Threat
Out of no where this new type of villains cause problems slowly against the UNSC. Attacking the UNSC ship. UNSC escapes (Slipstream Space). - The Struggle
Team Osiris with the help of Blue Team (without Master Chief) and Cortana take on the new threat but they have many problems. UNSC fails to help as they get outnumbered by the new threat. - Return of…
Master Chief and Mendicant Bias. Master Chief armor is seriously damaged and loss of communication to contact UNSC etc. - Face to Face
Master Chief and Mendicant Bias get up close and personal with the new threat. Mini boss fight? - Discovery
Master Chief and Mendicant Bias discover new (alien) technology which Mendicant Bias can configure and maybe do a major upgrade to Master Chief armor using the facility of the new threat. This technology can be passed on to Doctor Hasley? Imagine how the story can be progressed from this. Now that’s all I have at the moment regarding Halo 7 story. It’s just a little idea of how the story can progress in the Halo universe. Maybe I should stick to return of the Brutes? With all that said, in the cinematic story (following the ending of Halo 6), we see alternative ending of Master Chief sacrificing himself but Mendicant Bias saves Master Chief’s life by teleportation? This story should be played during Master Chief sequence, maybe half way through Master Chief and Mendicant Bias get re-introduced. It gives you the play-ability of playing through story missions as Spartan Locke and Master Chief. Best of both worlds.

It’s already speculated that Cortana has the logic plague which is pretty much when an AI gets infected by the flood (I think).

Sweat dreams, my fellow Spartan or Sangheili.
I also like to see Mendicant Bias, the Flood and let’s not forget the Didact(!).
Anyway - and I don’t want to offend you OP - if a new saga begins with Halo 7, than the villian shoud or must be last out for the whole saga or atleast much longer that the Didact. What 343 did with him is a joke, it’s a fail. They sacrificed a great character for nothing! In Halo 5, 343 created Cortana and Warden Eternal to fill the villian role. And I suspect they will create a new villian again for Halo 6.
In the first trilogy the main enemies were always there. It’s ok that we had 343 GS and Tartarus as “smaller” threats or villians, and even so Chief killed Regret in Halo 2, he was just one of the 3 main enemy. So I have no clue why 343 create new “greater” enemies every single -Yoinking!-’ time, when the Didact would have been great for the entire saga.

Didact would have been awesome. I agree with your point about Didact. Unless 343i have him planned to return in Halo 6? Mendicant Bias helps Chief? Who knows.

Yeah, who knows. But if 343 won’t bring back The Didact, then at least give us Mendicant Bias.
