The more I hear about the traitor angle and the more I read the books surrounding the post covenant war politics, the more I think Spartan on human conflict could really come into play in H5. Not only do we have MC viewed as a traitor which could mean some UNSC human pursuit, but we also see alot of insurrectionist activity popping up. (I don’t expect MC to be involved in that space due to kinda going rogue in pursuit of a cure for Cortana, but who knows?) so what do you all think? Are we going to see MC vs Humans vs Spartans vs covenant vs Prometheans?
Halo Escalation has hinted many times that insurrectionist activity is pickin up, and there is a broader conspiracy that involves Covenant, Brute and Human forces combining to overthrow the existing governments of the UNSC and Arbiter’s Covenant. I think we will definitely be fighting humans in some capacity in this game, possibly even other Spartan IVs.
It will defiantly be interesting to see were they take the story. And with the hint of a huge halo universe to be explored in this game it will be interesting for sure
