findings and suggestions

Just noting some findings and opinions on the gameplay so far.

So far while playing the game has been pretty stable, Haven’t had the game crash on me yet on my PC. However I am having FPS issues, capping at 60fps despite higher monitor refresh rate and having FPS uncapped in the settings, I do get a fairly consistent 50-60 frames per second however it does feel like there is a lot of frame stutter and will dip below 40 fps occasionally. Starting weapon drills is proving to be unreliable, typically I’m able to start 1 then if i start a different weapon drill right after it will often either not start or cancel loading. Multiplayer matches can also be difficult to load into as well but I figure that is just server related.

Gameplay wise I love the feel of the game over all, however some things feel like they may need some tweaking in my opinion:
-Sprint is painfully slow as others have already said
-the plasma pistol charge feels like it doesn’t sync with the sound and animation. When I let go of the trigger after it looks/sounds like it finished charging I often just wind up with a regular shot. Feels like the charge may need to be a bit faster.
-Grapple shot is a blast however it’s range feels a little short sometimes, also I would like to have some indicator to whether a wall/object/person is in range to grapple. If there is one I haven’t noticed it.

as far as the grapple goes its a little yellow mark at the center of your crosshair. I think sprint is fine maybe 5-10% more but thats it halo isnt supposed to be fast paced like other games old halo’s never had sprint,wallrunning,jetpacking and all that BS. the aiming and movement though need to be smoothed out better seems a lil clunky as well as climing up things and the sliding def needs work.

I’ll agree to 5-10%. I get that this isnt high intense action like 4-5, however current sprint is just a hair faster than walking speed. Usually more of a tactical disadvantage in many cases, It’s too slow to get out of trouble ever. I did finally notice the yellow dot. I think it would’ve been more noticeable or easier to interpret if it were offset from the cross-hair instead of right in the middle. As it is now it sort of blended in with the chaos while fighting so it took a while to find it.
