Finding Halo 3 Screenshots

I’ve taken some screenshots in Halo 3, but I don’t know where to go to download them onto my computer.

  • I’ve checked Halo Waypoint, but it only shows Halo 4 and Reach.
  • I went to Bungie’s website, but it says my profile can’t be found.

If someone knows how to find (my) Halo 3 screenshots. Teach me, that’d be great!

You may have already tried this, but at halo.bungie.net make sure you change the search to Halo 3 Gamertags before searching. Click the little icon to the left of the search field and a drop down menu will allow you to choose Halo 3 Gamertags. Then search for the Gamertag you are looking for. All my stuff is still there. Hope this helps.

halo.bungie.net hasn’t updated anybody’s Halo stats since March 31st 2012, when Halo was handed over to 343. Any stats, fileshares etc on halo.bungie.net are no longer tracked, are now out of date and wont update any more. Only files that were already made before the hand over are accessible.

Sorry OP, but unless you have a capture card to make screen shots on your PC I don’t think there is a way to download your Halo 3 screenshots any more. 343 don’t track Halo 3 fileshares so they didn’t include a way to download anything from them.

If you want someone to capture your screenshots, go to halorenders.com and they’ll do it for you.

I don’t know of a way to get new ones onto a computer, but…

If you just want to see your fileshare or the fileshare of a friend, launch H3, then navigate to your fileshare by hitting the “start” button. The files are all there, even new ones.

While the H3 game is running, go to your xbox guide, and open your friends list. Select a friend, and select his H3 fileshare. You’ll see his/her fileshare that includes all old and new files.

Back a couple months ago 4 of us did the H3 Halo Vidmaster (Complete Halo on Legendary with Iron and everyone in Ghosts). I took a series of Ghost pics that are now in my fileshare that are pretty cool…

I definitely missed the point that he was talking about new or recent screenshots. I assumed he meant from before halo.bungie.net became Read Only. Whoops!

Thanks, everyone for the info. I hope 343i brings Halo 3 file share to Waypoint someday.

They already said they’re not, which is a shame because most of my fav screenshots and clips can’t be shared unless I render them and upload to YouTube.
