The United Halo Command (UHC) is a military-based clan on Xbox 360 and eventually Xbox One. We operate mainly on Halo 4, but we have plans to expand Halo 5: Guardians as soon as it launches. The UHC was established on November 6th, 2014 and is increasing in membership almost everyday. We have four branches open and they will be discussed later on in the post. First, you have to know what we stand for: loyalty and respect. We have several rules, but most of them are to maintain order and sportsmanship while in game. Below is the UHC Code of Conduct.

United Halo Command Code of Conduct
1.) Real world always comes first. Failure to participate in real life will result in forced vacation time from the clan.
2.) You will respect officers and all members of a higher rank at all times. Failure to do so will result in immediate disciplinary action.
3.) You will not belittle any other clan member at any time for any reason. Failure to abide by this rule will result in immediate discipline action up to and including a demotion at the discretion of the President or Vice President.
4.) You will arrive to practice in uniform (i.e. armor, emblem, and service tag). Failure to do so will result in immediate disciplinary action.
5.) When an officer calls for “radio silence,” you will mute your microphone. Failure to do so will result in a warning.
6.) If you have something to say following the “radio silence” command, you will either be granted permission or denied permission. If permission to speak is denied, mute your microphone and the officer who issued the command will get back to you.
7.) You will not tea-bag at any time. Failure to abide by this rule will result in immediate disciplinary action.
8.) Please limit your use of vulgar/explicit language at all times. Failure to do so will result in a warning.
9.) Do not approach the President or Vice President during practices or meetings at any time. Immediate defensive action will be taken for their protection and you will face judiciary action at the discretion of the President.
10.) Do not fire your weapon after a match ends. Firing your weapon is viewed as unsportsmanlike conduct and immediate disciplinary action will be taken. Exception: You can fire if you are being attacked first in an act of self-defense.
11.) Do not communicate with other clans at any time without the express permission of the President or Vice President. If you do not abide by this rule, you will face judiciary action and placed on trial for treason.
12.) Do not ask for promotions. You will be demoted one rank for each request.
13.) Do not complain during a match. Complaining destroys team chemistry and tactical communication. If you complain, you will face immediate disciplinary action.
14.) If you are inactive within the clan for longer than three weeks without asking for a leave of absence from the President, Vice President, or your branch leader, you will be removed from the clan.

United Halo Command Officer Code of Conduct
1.) You will treat all members with respect. Failure to do so will result in an immediate demotion and disciplinary action at the discretion of the President or Vice President.
2.) You will remain active within the clan unless on leave or real world issues occur.
3.) You will not give discipline training to anyone who has not broken the above laws unless it is division/branch wide. Failure to abide by this will result in a demotion.
4.) If you become “power hungry” you will removed from your position as officer and demoted to Command Sergeant Major (CSM) at the discretion of the President or Vice President.
5.) You will not break any of the above laws. Failure to abide by this rule will result in a demotion and disciplinary action at the discretion of the President or Vice President.

The four branches within the UHC are the Army, Air Force, Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (O.D.S.T.), and the Intergovernmental Intelligence Agency (I.I.A.). The Army has three sub-branches: The Infantry (standard ground forces), The Rangers (highly trained snipers and scouts), and The Armored Brigade (specialize in all vehicles except banshees). The Air Force has no sub-branches and, as the name suggests, specializes in aerial combat. The Air Force has the smallest divisions (known as Wings) with four members per Wing. The O.D.S.T.s are the Marines of the UHC. They are the most disciplined members within the clan and have the most intense training. The O.D.S.T.s specialize in close-quarters-combat and defending critical positions on the battlefield during clan engagements and objective gametypes. The I.I.A. specializes in military intelligence and protection. The I.I.A. has three sub-branches: The Agency (specializes in regular intelligence operations), The Military Police (peacekeepers within the clan), and The Secret Service (protects high-priority members within the clan).

Mettle is now recruiting competitive multiplayer members for our Halo team ladder rosters. We will have multiple teams so if you apply, you have a good chance of being added to one of our teams.

Mettle is a gaming community of dozens of gamers and we all feel like family. Starting in December 2013 on BF4 for XB1, Mettle became a top 10 clan in the competitive BF4 scene and has since spread into several other competitive games such as CoD, LoL, Destiny and Halo: MCC. Being a part of Mettle gives you access to Slack, our messaging app which is full of Mettle members socializing on all topics. You will also gain access to our mumble server, which we use to chat with the rest of our Mettle members and/or coordinate competitive strategies and in game chat. Lastly, you will have access to our website, which is home to our event calendar, forums, store, social media, donations button and community.

You want to keep things quick and concise with just a simple “I have your back Player435” or “I’m almost to Flag B/ Bravo with a tank, stay alive!” or “There is an enemy in the building north of you”.
