Biography and Career- The Roughnecks are an elite Spartan Company of the Spartan Contingent. Formed in 2553, and led by former SPARTAN-III 2nd Lieutenant Rashaud-B012, The Roughnecks have a reputation as one of the most fearsome Companies of in the Spartan Branch. The Roughnecks served essentially during the Requiem Campaign and acted as heavy ground support during the ambush on Thel V’Damm during the council meeting. They now serve actively freeing outter colonies from Storm Covenant and Inssurectionist occupation. Rather than treat themselves up to standard behavior, The Roughnecks structure themselves heavily after old fashioned military style, most notably 20th Century U.S. Army and Marines style behavior, calling their new inductees Private rather than Spartan until three months of service with them.

Do not join if you cannot do this. - Commit to your words and be true to yourself, your comrades, and the mission.
