Hey there! I’m an LT in UEG (United Extreme Gaming). Are you interested in joining a fun gaming community? Halo is where our roots came from and we’re only looking for the adventure to continue! We are a console based community on the Xbox One, we are also still on the 360 as well but transitioning over to next gen. UEG is sitting at about 1.3k members, and the community is divided into multiple branches, each consisting of between 50-100 members each. UEG is a fun community that spans across multiple games although Halo, Destiny, Cod, Titan Fall, and a few others are our main focus. We have game nights regularly and are always looking for any other gaming ideas our members have. UEG is going into its 9th year of existence, and we’re always looking for new blood to help share the adventure with. If you’re interested in UEG there are a few things you need to know. There are rules that you must follow which I’ll post further down and you are REQUIRED to change your bio to what is needed to join UEG. We have a military ranking structure as well, each rank has their own responsibilities, others have more srious ones such as recruiting people, hosting game nights and meetings, and ect.
Name of Community: UEG (United Extreme Gaming)
Contact: UEG Sam
Mission: To have fun playing with one another but also giving the members some completive side as well with squads battling together branches. We are always looking to expand and share our adventure with each other.
Rules:
- No cheating or manipulating of any kind that violates the Xbox Live code of conduct. We do not permit cheating in any multiplayer games that gives one team an edge over the other.
- No racism, sexism, or discrimination of any kind.
- No drama! Drama will not be tolerated in any way. An example of drama: say you have a bad day, don’t go around telling everyone why you had a bad day, we don’t want to hear about it. Just keep it to yourself.
4 Do not talk about illegal drugs or alcohol (really just don’t talk about it period). - Don’t be disruptive with other members of the community. We are a fun bunch who like to paly calm fun games and even competitively in a nice calm manner. We don’t want someone who is going to complain about a specific member and the way they play.
- In order to get promoted, you have to be signed up on the website. I’ll post link of the further down later.
- Always keep your bio what it’s suppose to be. If you change your bio and don’t fix it within a weeks notice you will be removed. (I do background checks since I’m an LT so I’ll find out if your bio is changed)
That’s it for the rules and regulations, the rest can be found on the website. I also mentored UEG has a military ranking structure which I’ll now go into with a few examples. The other ranks you can also find out by looking it up on the website.
Recruit-responsibility is to play with other members of the branch and get to know them in their 7-10 day trial period (as a recruit you’re not officially in UEG). The trial period is to let the recruiters evaluate the new recruits and for the recruits to decide at the end of their trial whether they officially want to join or not.
Sergeant- is an official member of the community who’s responsibility is to just play with other members of the community, occasionally attend meetings, and join game nights if they so choose.
Staff Sergeant- (rank is optional as if you decide to go to this rank and up you have actual responsibilities). responsibility of recruiting one person a week and attending staff meetings once a week. You are required to learn the recruiting speech if you plan on going up to SSGT.
Master Chief- responsibility is to recruit 2 members a week as they are a more experienced recruiter who can also help host game nights and they report to the lieutenant.
Lieutenant- They are an enforcer in the branch who make sure members are following the rules, host meetings and game nights, interview and promote members of the community. They can also recruit if needed and can be called a 2nd in command next to the captain.
Captain- Is the #1 leader of the branch. The captain is responsible for the well being of the branch and making sure it is ran in an orderly manner. The captain reports the top of the community on and they can do just about everything else a lieutenant can do.
As I said before, the other ranks can be looked at on our website which I’ll share really soon. The ranking structure isn’t complicated at all. If all you want to be is just a member of the community then Sergeant is the rank you’ll stay at, however if you wish to help out and give back to the community you can go up to Staff Sergeant and above with more responsibilities. It’s not required to go to staff if you don’t want to. We have people who are always willing to help others members, all you need to do is ask. I’m probably the most recruit friendly person so just shoot me a message and I’m there for you. So to top it all off, did I get your interest? There’s fun to be had, game nights, fun people to talk to, and even squad battles in Halo if you happen to have it and are a competitive person. (we do have competitive people as well on destiny, it’s just kind of hard to battle other squads with no custom match lobby.) If you’re interested just message my gamer tag and I’ll get with you and we can talk. My gamer tag is as my name says UEG Sam.
