Finally tuned into HCS for once. And ohhh man is it boring

It’s not a few, there are lots of people who liked H5, especially after all the content updates.

It’s forge and customs community was super strong, and right up until Infinite’s launch its custom game browser had like 16 pages of games every day (and the games were populated, not just empty).

Both Warzone and Warzone firefight had super healthy populations for basically the entire run of H5.

Btb only died off once MCC matchmaking got its huge overhaul and was receiving content. For only having forge maps it’s population lasted way longer than I thought it would.

And the ranked playlists only died off in like late 2019, and even then the solo/duo playlist was still going strong.

People ragging on H5 all the time are really just in denial. Sure, you may not have thought it wad great, bit that doesn’t mean it wasn’t well populated for a long time

Sure, you could argue that thruster creates outplay potential, but I feel it was a crutch when making mistakes/bad position. Whereas in Infinite, your poor decisions and position result in you being fried.

Look at Frosty and his complaining video, he’s literally whining about “skill gap” between h5 and infinite. He wants his thrusters back because he lacks other important qualities which is showing in his gameplay in Infinite.

This is why I use the term “crutch”, because that’s exactly what it is.

I like all the halo’s - even 4… I just spent more time on some than others.

Both HCS for infinite and 5 wasn’t great… it’s only exciting when it’s like 49-49 and then it’s over.

However after watching the previous comp. The commentating got better than it was during H5. Which does make it more bearable to watch.

I’m not watching this weekend - I forgot I bought Control last year sometime and have moved on from this game.

I just can’t believe the amount of headshots despite the reticle nowhere near the target. Absolutely wild to me.

I only watch HCS for the drops, how ever it is funny to see them -Yoink!- each other or punch bodies

If you’re talking about on stream, it’s because it is spectator view which is not accurate to where they are actually aiming.

That’s pretty cool I guess. They should make all sports like that, watching a basketball game, watch the guy completely air ball a three but have it count anyway.

I’m sure the Observer mode will be tweaked so it’s more real time eventually, but there are just more important things to deal with.

Yeahhh what do you expect when the game is lacking content and the maps aren’t that great. Noticed this game definitely promotes the teams to sit back more and wait for an opportunity. I can’t even watch a match anymore the game is so awful and ugly to boot. I feel like those guys only play it because it’s the newest and that’s where the money is, a lot of them have spoken out about how bad they think the game is but they remain on the teams competing. Meh

Quake Pro League is enjoyable to watch since it’s 1v1 and faster paced.

Yep this is exactly the mindset of a lot of them and probably the mindset of a big majority of players on this game. It’s the new game and it’s all we have besides going back to MCC so they tolerate it and TRY to find substantial experiences and enjoyment. Sadly, I can no longer find enjoyment with this game, it just makes me want to pull my hair out and scream. Awful awful game.
