So I got Halo 5 for Christmas, and during school it was really annoying to unlock REQS. And I’m almost done opening silver packs! I’m finally starting to get Ultra Rare certifications! Now I just need to get Legendary stuff.
Once you get close to finishing silvers and get into golds, it is very nice. So many vehicles and weapons we only had during the fiesta events. I’m really enjoying the gold grind… for now
The MoR updates did help a lot with the removing of emblems as permanent unlocks in packs. It was frustrating to buy a Silver/Gold pack and get 2 freaking emblems.

Firefight is not only giving me away Gold packs, but it give 6,000 REQ point along with that xD. FYI, I have 100% unlock (except exclusives)

Ive noticed the req pack unlocks tend to go from low to high reqs, and when you get a helmet, you have a higher chance of unlocking the armor right after. I rememebr when i got my first DMR, got 3 more right after.

How do you get 6,000 every time?
Its a great feeling finishing the Silver grind, but then realizing you have all of those Gold packs to grind through is a bit of a beating lol alot of great stuff in the Gold packs though once everything is unlocked!

You do atleast have the satisfaction of getting an Ultra-Rare/Legendary/Mythic with Gold thing instead of a little uncommon thing when in Silver.

I’m curious about this, too. How do you get 6000 every time? I mean, I have with boosts, but regular Warzone usually feeds more REQ points than WZFF. However, WZFF does feed you EXP out the -Yoink-.

When you max out Golds, it gives you 6k REQ points back. Just like when you max out Silver it gives you 3k REQ points back

The grind does pay off indeed once you got it all unlocked and start getting that RP refund… Im sitting on at least 20 of almost everything… Next Warzone Turbo weekend is going to be very painful for my opponents 
I keep getting Banshees, Wraiths, and Scorpions from REQ packs. Not that I’m complaining. Only problem is that I’m starting to run out of Railguns and Whiplashes. But 15+ Sword Banshees is never a bad thing.
I got the game at launch but due to RL issues as well as a lack of enthusiasm for how the aiming mechanics first worked, I basically put the game down.
I’m only recently coming back into it now that my all time favorite mode FireFight was released and damn! I’m working my way through commons, only about 50 left (mostly helms and armors) and then I can start just buying silvers.
One thing I wish you were able to do is sell cards in bigger bunches. Having to individually sell the cards can be a pain ( I had 63 of one type and I had to sell most of them one at a time. Took way too long) so I hope something is eventually done about mass selling. I know keeping it slow means you don’t oversell but… come on.
Really the one thing I want the most right now are some Mantis certs. I’ve only gotten two from REQ’s before and I used my first to great effect, winning my first FF match. I wanna stomp on all the grunts!
I don’t have the Wasp yet, and I’m opening all these silvers hoping and praying to get it. Then a flippin’ armor piece is like “You want the Wasp cerification, well TOO BAD! You’re gonna get crappy armor pieces that mean nothing to you!” I just want my Wasp, dangit!
[EDIT] Also, the amount of armor pieces/helmets seems extremely excessive! I wish it was like Halo 3, and I wasn’t even allowed to play Halo back then. I’ve just heard how great it was to get that amazing set of armor. BTW, Halo 5 is not my first Halo, I started on Reach.

The wasp really isn’t much to brag about. It’s a paper airplane. Anything destroys it.
Me too, I’ve been getting some great unlocks over my last 10 or so packs, a lot of which were from WZFF victories. Today I unlocked The Answer certification and I’m so pleased I’ve wanted it for so long.

Didn’t help me much, cause I already had everything before that update! 
It’s a wonderful feeling.
