Hi, I made it to SR152 today. I also have all the achievements and all the commendations completed. It was a good run, Halo 5.
Who else is close to max level? How much longer do you have before you complete it?
I’ll be stuck at SR 150 for a while, especially since I fell short on my monthly XP goals. Ah well. Even if I don’t get there, I’ll gladly settle with my brand new Achilles helmet.

I’d been doing at least 100k xp every single day for over a year. It was rough.

I’m not very far into rank 148, which means I’m not even a third of the way to 152. But I’m not about to give up on Halo 5 just yet!
With my current playing, I should hit it by early May. Playing FF is monotonous, but all the HCS tournaments came at the perfect time with all the legendary boosts they give out so I can play Infection instead for a good amount of time.

Honestly just put on some music or something to watch in the background and grind things like WZA. Having the H3 playlist back for the end of my quest was a big help because I actually had fun.

Yeah, I’d say it is pretty important to have fun during the grind…

H5 FFA was very competitive. The most competitive FFA we have had since H3 lone wolves. 343 being their lame self and have replaced FFA with FFA HWC which is ok but it is only on two yoinking maps! What is worse is they picked two maps that play very similar. Who ever decided the FFA HWC should be decided on only two maps deserves an atomic wedgie.

the reason they did that is so people could practice for the HWC FFA. So it uses the same two maps used at the events. I would consider those two maps two of the best FFA maps available. No power weapons, one power up, some map pickups but mainly magnum gunfights. Basically ideal FFA settings.

I don’t mind the settings all that much but it makes for stale game play. I don’t like my Halo as a one gun game. Also there is no reason what so ever to only use two maps. They really should have just made a FFA HWC playlist instead of forcing it on all FFA players. There is pretty much no where to play FFA now since they took it away in H5 and mcc doesn’t have it.
But let’s not jack this thread about FFA… I may come back to H5 for some XP since I now have over one hundred Legendary XP arena boost from the HWC events.

It makes it fair for everyone involved since they will all have to prove themselves on the same map with the same layout instead of having people advance on a variety of maps. I imagine it also makes it easier to manage during a tournament when you have hundreds of people playing in the FFA. In a normal online environment though, I think it’s better to have multiple maps instead.

Maybe now that I have nothing left to do in H5 it’s time to dabble in FFA and lose a lot
