343 has driven my love for the series into the ground. I wasted money on this game to play with friends, only to find out that 60 fps is too important. So split screen is unavailable. I have to wait and see if they “may put it in the next game”. What a waste. Great job there. At least the frames are great.
Information was available MONTHS before the game launched. Your fault if you didn’t know. So see ya, have fun on Battlefront or some other trashy game.
I know it’s bad,but what else they could do? business are the only thing that matters in the video games franchises.
PS4 is heavily outselling the Xbone,Microsoft had to show a game with a good visual and gameplay to attract people and make them buy the console plus the game.
Not everything is 343i fault, and even if it is,chill out pal.The world is not going to end just because Halo 5 lacks of split-screen game mode.

Thats the problem though. The developers and publishers care about the money. Not the content. Their goal is to earn as much money possible while spending the least amount on creating new content. The consumers is to pay the least amount of money for the most amount of content. That’s the problems with the FPS genre these days. Its because the developers main interest isn’t to create the best game but to make the most money and even if there are developers who want to create the best game, the publishers control the amount of money they get and the publishers know that it’s possible to earn plenty of revenue without using plenty of money so they limit the budget of the developers.
I love how everyone who makes a post about quitting Halo, is a brand new forum poster. It means you literally logged in and made one of your first forum posts just to tell a bunch of people you don’t know, that you are leaving Halo…lol.

Strait on the dot.
Adios!
Regardless of what everyone else is saying good luck in whatever you do.
the fact that 5 is mainly arena competitive based is kind of unnerving. I play a game for fun, not to rage every time I get paired with tryhards whose only comeback is get good, skrub. in a sense they have killed Halo’s iconic style for me.

I’m just getting into multiplayer for the first time and I’m sitting here wondering if it’s always been this hard, this intense, this competitive for everyone to get into… I keep hearing stories about how great it used to be with the old Halos, how casual and friendly and laid back they were, and wish I’d gotten in on it then.
I’m trying to stay patient, take my lumps and keep my mouth shut because of course if I say one word about how noob-unfriendly it is, like you said, the only thing you’ll hear is “git gud skrub”, but while I just keep playing and playing and playing to try to get experience, all I’m getting better at is learning how to get spawn-killed in like 2 seconds.

War. Zone.
I agree that arena is far too try-hardy and not at all fun. But here’s the thing: 4v4 Halo has been this way since the day Halo 2 launched, at least for me. I’m just grateful that 343 created warzone specifically for players like us, who are, after all, just as important to the future of Halo as the sweatiest try-hard.

60fps is content. Content without which I would have been seriously disappointed. I’m still sorry for the people who feel cheated without split screen, but the hardware can only do so much and this was a “one or the other” proposition.
this all was known before the game came out do your research before you buy something
