Im glad to see csr not being in the game. Now after I play my usual 5 to 6 games before I get tired of playing it will give me something to do. Or wait I could have my laptop on while playing and just keep up with it that way. Guess its going to be command central in my living room just to enjoy this game. Really though why not put it in the game and then I can just play and not have to leave the game to check my csr? Really sucks because waypoint should supplement the experience and not drive the experience the way that it seems to be going. Make the game the only thing needed to enjoy every aspect of the game. Halowaypoint can then be used to supplement the game with news features and stats. Just a thought

You know what? I’m not actually angry any more, I’m just disappointed. Disappointed that 343 haven’t listened. Disappointed that they haven’t at least engaged us to provide us with some understanding in their decision making. But mostly I’m just disappointed in their short-sightedness in today’s gamers; I’m sure they believe that this ‘new halo’ will pick up more young fans in the long run as us older ones mature, but what they fail to understand is that we were young kids when the arena/competitive halo was in its heyday and we LOVED it. Have young gamers changed?
Yeah I think its more that society has changed which caused the younger gamers to change. I mean when I started playing halo 3 online I wasnt really good at the game. But I had something that made me want to get better that I could easily see. To me rankings are what make u want to try to become better. But nowadays u know everyone gets a trophy or medal in halos case regardless of how good you are. I didnt get high speed internet out in the sticks til 2009 thats why the first game I played online was halo 3. Im not really angry about it but it just takes so much away from the game. And yeah they really need to give us a good explanation as to why it was left out. Dodging the question every time some ask doesnt look good at all on there part.

Yeah I read that but its only going to be on waypoint not in game. If u look at the news forum and read the post from thos weeks up date bs angle replied to a comment and said it wasnt going to visible in the game. Each gametype will have its on rank when u check your stats on waypoint. At least thats what I got out of it.
Man this is confusing…
Yeah its just another feature that will be in the game that really probably doesn’t get used too much. Hopefully they’ll see that after it comes out and put it in the game but I wouldnt count on it.

Well hopefully they treat the inevitable backlash as a learning experience. That is all I am treating Halo 4 as right now. I just want at least some type of playlist or option to have Halo 3 esque gameplay. IMO there was no beating that.

Yeah, she said that yesterday after the bulletin came out. Because so many were confused by what she said. CSR will NOT be visible in-game.
I’m still mad about it.
