…And all it took was a day of grinding Spartan Ops with upwards of 10 DXP games. Seriously, I cant see how anyone would complain about this, let alone hit it while playing normally. I only grinded so much because I wanted to get to my first specialization before the end of the break, and it wasnt much fun at all. So whats all the fuss about?
Also, why are people rushing through the ranks? Being at SR130 forever is going to be boring.
some people don’t like progression systems in their shooters, and want to get them done and over with asap. Progression shouldn’t be why you keep playing, the gameplay should be.
I can hit the cap just by playing normal games in a day and I can hit the cap playing spartan ops with double XP in just a handful of games. Then again when you’re getting 13k a match it doesn’t take long.
> Progression shouldn’t be why you keep playing, the gameplay should be.
this.
> Progression shouldn’t be why you keep playing, the gameplay should be.
That. And:
> Also, why are people rushing through the ranks? Being at SR130 forever is going to be boring.
This.
Commendations will keep those SP130 people playing though, considering that you unlock armor for getting them.
I agree with the progression part, but it could be taken both ways. Either people are rushing through to get to the higher ranks because they dont care about ranking up and want to get it over with, but people that dont care about ranking would just play the game without wanting to rush. Cant really take a large part of the population and hivemind it. I still dont see how people hit the XP cap playing matchmaking regularly, especially with of the multiple increases (were due for another tomorrow!)
U get between 10-12k per mm game if u have double xp…cr cap in the beginning was 100k…so that’s only 10 games…that’s how people kept hitting it.
Correction SpOps…5-7k in mm with double xp
I’m really amazed that people buy into the whole mountain dew double xp thing but then go on to tell microsoft how they’re “business whores” for limiting the normal editions of the game.
Meanwhile in not-the-united-states: Normal players are SR 30 - 50
The first couple days when I got the game, I hit the cap farely quickly, and to be honest I was pissed off because I really couldn’t play the game. Any commedations I hit, xp would be lost, any Legendary campaign missions I completed solo for challenges wouldn’t get me xp.
I don’t hit it anymore though I think theres room for improvement, like just make xp transfer over at least. That way if someone hits the cap and wants to keep playing and earning then they can with no worries.
