Have to admit, I’m pretty proud of myself. I don’t get to play that often so staying sharp is really hard. I mostly have to rely on smarts rather than skill.

Perhaps go to reddit’s r/haloplayers and grab some teammates? Communication and no quitting helps a lot.

Then don’t. That’s the single biggest obstacle to ranking up is losing and randoms will make you lose. Getting a team is your top priority if you want to rank up.

I know, and I’m cool with that as long as your highest rank ever achieved in recorded and viewable in your service record.

Congrats. Leveling up solo can be really hard sometimes.
Played ten games FFA to get a rank in it cos it was the only one left. Went straight to onyx and I’m pretty pleased about it, because I hate that gametype so much and don’t think I’m very good at it.
I recently got Diamond 4 in Swat… Haven’t played since. I’m always matched with a bunch -Yoinking!- idiots and it’s not worth my rank going down.
