It’s official! I finally made it to Onyx rank in Halo Infinite! What a sweat fest and a struggle for sure. I didn’t have anyone to play with so it was me just pairing up with random players trying to get there. 
Anyways I know most of you guys wont care but it was a nice accomplishment I set up for myself and I finally achieved it! Now time to play the game a little more casually because I am tired lol.
Congrats! How did you do it? I want to rank up. I watch videos I, I practice all the time( practiced on halo 5 before Infinite) but I feel stuck and not ranking up.
Honestly you’ve probably heard it a lot but practice, practice, practice. You’re going to lose matches and it’s going to be frustrating but if you can pull through it and focus on performing well individually and play the objective then you’ll get there. I started out as Diamond 1 after my placement matches but I was determined to practice my aim, making sure to keep track of power weapons/power ups spawns, and calling out even though my teammates 90% didn’t use their mic. Also, make sure to utilize that ping feature as well. Helps out a ton. 
Well done! I’ve never placed onyx before. I’ve gotten to diamond 5 in H5, but never was able to cross that border.

Congrats! It’s hard with all the current issues. So very much a major achievement.
I don’t know if it’s matchmaking or me but my win/loss rate has got to be 25% win and I’m not actually joking. 90% of the time my KDA is good though but if we lose I drop CSR. I find I’m often the only 1 going for power ups and power weapons but the other team seems to have 2 or 3 going for it. Who knows maybe I’m just getting the worst of luck? I’ll try the call outs and ping as you suggested. What call outs do you suggest?
Congrats. Question, do you rank down after a certain amount of losses? I’m Diamond 1 and must have lost 5 games in a row yet my rank is still the same. Bar hasn’t moved
