Finally got my taste of the Kinsano rush.

I played a game yesterday vs. a Kinsano and Atriox. I was literally about to get out my first Marauder and then I get swarmed by 5 Jackrabbits, 5-10 Marines and 10-15 grunts at just past the 4 minutes mark. No way that I could’ve stopped that rush. Even if my teammate helped, I would’ve been dead meat. -Yoinking!- JackRabbits, man…

I mean you could have done SOMETHING by 4 minutes… Like, that actually sounds like more jackrabbits should he hit you (I would be at your base with 6 sooner (around 3:30 or even 3:00) with around 6.

Also scout and if you detect rush build turrets and what ever unit is best to counter whatever rush. You do that instead of getting to marauders as fast as possible then it might work out better for you.

Sounds to me you didn’t even invest in your own defenses

To avoid throwing pad around my room i now play vs AI until devs do something about that rushes. I really love to play long matches, with super units clashing on the battlefield. I did some rushes on my own but its far from satisfying for me.

you people don’t realize its not the JR’s that are the problem, its that she can leader power rush units at your base and overwhelm their defenses, thats what makes kinsano OP

If you’re playing against Kinsano, it’s usually best to invest in a turret or two early. Or, get some fast counters out, at least a leader or whatever.
I usually do that against Cutter too, as people like to rush with him.
Many of the leaders have rush or spam possibilities. If you don’t scout, it’s better to just anticipate and get defenses/counters. They won’t hurt.

Maybe send a troop out to camp early (garrison?), see when the rush is about to start.

I got hit by two Kinsano rushes in a 2v2 the other day. I lost both my starting bases, but my teammate put out counters and helped me get a new base. They invested so much into that push, that, when we stopped it, we were able to win the game.

if you dont get shield up before rush comes great rushers at base around 3 min or less, all your turrets will get melted by flame thrower drop their turret can wipe out at least 1 turret n more, then flame warthogs come,game over

You’re not getting what I’m saying. TWO people came at my base with a 20-30 grunts and Marines combined and then 5 jackrabbits. Couple that with them using the portal on Highway and they got there at exactly 4 minutes. Turrets would’ve done nadda even if only Kinsano came at me. 5 Marauders would’ve beaten them back with elite micro.

I main shipmaster. I use the teleport to dodge leader powers.

Ok. Still, I feel like you should have defended with your teammate at your base. They would have taken things out but you would have been able to destroy their army with as many units as they had perhaps.

If you are getting hit by that much and you are going into marauders - you should’ve at least had some turret defenses up. You can’t tech up fast without putting defensive turrets in place. A watchtower also helps because it will give your turrets an even larger line of sight on what is coming.

Invest in turrets my friend. They are your friend.

I scouted at 2:30. I saw them massing Marines/grunts at a portal so I just assumed that they were going strictly that. I NEVER get attacked that early so I assumed that they were going to try and overkill with infantry. In that case, Marauders/suicide grunts would’ve been the best strategy(In my mind). The speed of it and the Jackrabbits threw me off.

You don’t avoid it… You just see it coming and prepare, or attack them first.
