It’s been, what, almost two years? I still have a huge number of armors and weapon skins to go, but I finally got the REQ cert for Phaetons.
I guess I can die happy now (or maybe start raging when I never receive them in a pack again).

Nice bro.funnily enough i finally,at SR 107, got my Phaeton cert today as well.in the same pack i also got 2 legendary XP boosts.The very next pack gave me the ONI wasp cert so i’m pretty sure i’ve used all of my luck now 
I got my Phaeton certs well over a year ago, maybe 2. I’ve used about 4 regular Phaetons and maybe 2 Phaeton Helios’.
I have 9 Phaetons and 7 Helios’ as of now. Good luck friend.

No, you’ll start raging once you finish the Phaeton Gunner commendation because that’s when you’ll start getting a bunch of them.

I think I used a random one I had in a game of Warzone once. It was great there. But I’ve never used in a proper game against humans – and therin lies the problem.

That’s nice, I got my Phaeton Helios certification first before I got my regular Phaeton certification and I’m probably getting more Helios than regular in my packs.

Vehicles are fragile in Halo 5. On top of that, there are just too many high damage anti-vehicle weapons. If it doesn’t have shields, it’s basically useless.

This has to be the most truthful thing, I haven’t gotten a Phaeton in Almost a full year, I’ve got the certification for it as well

The Helios is but I haven’t gotten one in a long time.

Congrats, but as others have said, I also unlocked the Phaeton some time ago, but very very rarely get any in REQ packs.
They’re also not as good in a battle as one would like, you will quickly get targeted by everything or anything that can see you. You have to be quite tactical when flying one, keep some sort of cover nearby and put fire down from a distance or you end up destroyed in about 10 seconds! If you keep intact yes, they’re a powerful thing to bring to the mix. Have fun!
