I just looked at the concept art for Emiles armor from the community update on saturday. It looks like it has a black under-suit with it, but the color is red. When I look back at the concept art of Dynasty and other armor they have the same as the main color of the Spartan they are showing off. Do you think this mean we might be getting Solid black under-suit in halo 5 or do you thinking that it will be armor specific?
Maybe so.
I doubt it. Pre-rendering for the Decimator armor has a black undersuit too.
Maybe, though it’s just as (if not more) likely just the Reach ones.

I wish, but all armor renders shown before launch had black undersuits too, so I doubt it.
It would be cool if they made it an option to choose whatever color we want for it
Well its a concept art so they probably did that to show off the armors points not the undersuit since that remains unchanged for every armor

They do all the art with black undersuits, and the colored undersuit is the base character model with which then they plaster the armor on.
Concept art is almost meaningless as far as representing a final product.

It is still a hope and I know how that can be on it. It just looks like also from the screen shot we have of firefight it might be black unless I am looking at it wrong

It’s a colored undersuit in the WZ FF screen too…

I’ve never understood the fascination with black undersuits tbh. I just don’t see it making a big difference

it makes the plating of the actual armor stick out more, giving it that Metallic feeling. I think 343 doesn’t do the black undersuit for their armor because most of the “armor” is like 95% wetsuit with plastic chunks glued on.
and another thing, what’s up with the lack of crotch protection? I want my crotch protected -Yoink!-, thank goodness they’re taking bungies original designs with noble teams armor and not adding a 343 “twist”
They should just have the undersuit be a Tertiary color option we can change. Maybe make it consistent even in team modes like the Armor Detail color in Halo 3.
