You finally did a double xp weekend after all this time, This past weekend was the most me and my friends have played Halo 5 because of the double xp weekend it brought us back, I think i have made 3 posts about this in the past just glad you have finally done it should of done it sooner but better late then never, Even though i dont really need it make you do double req point weekends again! Maybe even do a random playlist that isnt there for a double xp weekend still have all modes with double xp but maybe just add snipers for the weekend etc
I’m glad you enjoyed it as much as I did 343 should start doing this more often that would be cool. 
It was mainly for the surge in new players to rank up quicker and unlock more reqs. However I agree it definitely brings people back to play, which is why this should continue to exist.
They should do it every month or every weekend will be really cool
I don’t really get the hub bub about double xp in H5. Not like the levels mean anything, all they do is give you an emblem that you most likely won’t care about. But hey, if it gets people to play H5 more, I’m all up for more double xp weekends.
The XP to get to the next rank for me was 3 million xp. 147 to 148. I did have 1 million 500k left and it helped get that down to about 600k xp (I made sure to play the hell outta that weekend).
It really helps with these ridiculous rank progressions, just days and days of playing for XP… help me pls
It would get me to play more often, that’s for sure. I usually play other games on weekends that offer this kind of incentive.
A double XP event is welcome all days of the week! To me it shows there is still a working team behind H5
Great for people doing the 152 grind. I enjoy double XP weekends, gives everyone an incentive to play more and can even bring in new players.
There should be a double xp event every two or three weeks along with Turbo or Warlords to acompany it.
Just love that it boosted numbers for the weekend the community was bigger more games and easier to get matches in all lists bring it on more frequently
