Finally we get to play as blue team, and what does 343 do? Gives us 3 missions with them out if 15 lol. What a joke. I don’t know why they decided to have chief absent for the majority of the game.
also I felt that the story was rushed, all this game did was set up halo 6.
Many said halo 4 was a set up for halo 5.
If they had just done the story from chiefs viewpoint then I think it would have felt less rushed. It would have been better explained as well. I can’t believe that chief is only in 3 missions. I honestly enjoyed this less than any other halo first play through. I’m gutted, now another 2/3 years just to find out what happens next. RAGE!
I’m fairly certain that 343 know we want to play as Blue Team, and I think they’re trying to build them up while also introducing other characters via Fireteam Osiris. In Halo 6 we’ll probably mainly play as Blue Team.
The play ratio is a lot better than the mission ratio as well, considering that Blue Teams shortest mission is still a good bit longer than Osiris’ longest one, while Osiris also has 3 non-missions. It’s probably closer to 2:1 in game time.
I love Blue team and the Spartan II’s but honestly it didn’t bother me so much. Halo is Halo, with or without Master Chief.
