Final weekly challenge joke

Sorry for the late answer. On my first day in the forum i was limited to 13 messages in the first 24 hours.

Yes, finally i got it done. Started on Level 18 battle pass, ended Level 21 when i got the last killing spree.
So, 1 Level are 20 matches at 50 XP, it took me at least 40 Fiesta matches.

Yeah. The rockets were the only reason that I didn’t complete it super quick. I have no problems getting killing sprees but when I would get to 4/5 kills, I would get nuked by rockets. I changed up my tactics. I stopped being so aggressive and played more cautiously and didn’t run out in the open or put myself in a position where I would be at a disadvantage. I didn’t go looking for enemy players. I moved around advantageous positions and let them come to me so that I can get the jump on them when they have rockets and I competed all the challenges really early in the week

literately what kept happing to me last night, talk about being out powered, i rarely got the chance to spawn in with either a sword, rocket launcher or gravity hammer…I had to use my surroundings to be able to take advantage most times

Use. Your. Equipment. The UNSC spends [REDACTED] on all that ordnance, your Spartan training, not to mention all the air you suck up. You best use it right and not die with full pockets. Repulsors deflect rocks my guy. Shields block them. A thrust can even scoot you away. Single-shot high-damage weapons [snipers, melee] ambushes can be set up with the sensor. You’re a cybernetic super soldier in the space future with unlimited mobility options. You can get 5 kills in a row.

Yeah it’s pretty dumb to have a whole bunch of non-optional challenges based around a mode that’s specifically about random goofiness.

Never thought I’d have to sweat in a competitive Fiesta match.

But it’s not even a fair one, challenging, yes, but to restrict it to ONE gamemode in which it is pure luck - not skill - to get a spree because of very questionable loadouts?

You get killed before you can get even close with either a Hammer or a Sword - very much the only weapons that are able to kill an enemy fast enough for the kills to stack.

If other Ultimates in the Future are like that I won’t even bother, it’s still not as easier but much more possible to get multiple kills in BTB, Quick or Ranked.

Again, to restrict it to one mode doesn’t seem fair.

This was an easy challenge lol

Was it? Then please tell me what you did Weapons, Maps, Enemies? Seriously after HOURS i only managed it ONCE because they are all not close enough.

At this point i rather pay for the Coating than bothering to unlock it through playing.

Easiest way to cheese it is to get sword or hammer, camp around busy corners whilst crouching. Fiesta is so fast paced people are too reliant on the tracker. Wind up the hammer before they come around the corner.
If you can grab rockets it is normally 2 or 3 guaranteed kills.

This is true. Fiesta is chaotic, and everyone is running around like chickens without heads, so all you have to do is not do that, and find a good spot to snipe from, or a good high traffic area people run past a lot, and play like it’s LASO.

I spent 6 hours and only got one. 90% I only got to 3 kills then I got killed due to rocket or the enemy just grenaded me, and this was doing the camping with hammer, sword got nothing. I must really have no skill or just extremely bad luck. I am glad so many completed this challenge and I wish I didn’t have work today and tomorrow. Then maybe I could get it too. But since I have to work I won’t be able to. It also looks like I won’t ever get to complete the ultimate challenges since the only reason why I was able to get to the ultimate challenge was due to not having work Thursday and Friday due to the holiday. I won’t have the time to grind due to work. Which is very upsetting since I don’t get a lot of time to play as it is due to work.

Luck plays a very small part in completing it. Ive gotten sprees on every Fiesta map with my different weapons. Sure sword and hammer make it easier, but knowing the weapons and where they are most effective plays a huge part.

Are you sure it’s killing frenzy? Mine says killing spree. It’s pretty easy to pull off if you don’t rush in the open and try to tank every fight. Also it should be a bit of a challenge…

After spending another 8 hours trying to get this garbage not getting a single killing spree ive come to the conclussion the whole sword hammer combo is terrible getting close to someone just means your more likly for it to happen to you

Ive spend 3 days on it and got none

I havent seen a single person run in feista no one shows on radar

The challenge itself isn’t extremely awful. What makes it nearly impossible though is the SBMM. In a game like Halo 3 I could easily see myself going into social and getting 5 killing sprees relatively easy. But playing Fiesta against all Diamond players because every mode in the game has SBMM is where these challenges turn rotten. My only chance of completing the challenge is to play fiesta all day and hope I spawn with a sword and a grapple hook and hope no one on the other team has rockets. It’s like a 6 layer RNG cake and I hate it.

Than you are a very skilled player. I would say top teir. Cause I can’t do that and I know many that can’t do what you can do. Unless I am far worse than I already think.

I got it in like 7 matches doing this strategy.

Someone else say it cause I don’t want to lol

il say it, you was lucky, any one with a sword and hook can be killed instantly with a rocket launcher you was just lucky they didnt have one
